Use of BellSouth Certified Supplier. ALEC Inc., shall select a supplier which has been approved as a BellSouth Certified Supplier to perform all engineering and installation work. ALEC Inc., and ALEC Inc.,’s BellSouth Certified Supplier must follow and comply with all BellSouth requirements outlined in BellSouth’s XX 00000, XX 00000, XX 00000, and TR 73564. In some cases, ALEC Inc., must select separate BellSouth Certified Suppliers for transmission equipment, switching equipment and power equipment. BellSouth shall provide ALEC Inc., with a list of BellSouth Certified Suppliers upon request. The BellSouth Certified Supplier(s) shall be responsible for installing ALEC Inc.,'s equipment and components, extending power cabling to the BellSouth power distribution frame, performing operational tests after installation is complete, and notifying BellSouth's equipment engineers and ALEC Inc., upon successful completion of installation, etc. The BellSouth Certified Supplier shall xxxx XXXX Inc., directly for all work performed for ALEC Inc., pursuant to this Attachment and BellSouth shall have no liability for nor responsibility to pay such charges imposed by the BellSouth Certified Supplier. BellSouth shall consider certifying ALEC Inc., or any supplier proposed by ALEC Inc.,. All work performed by or for ALEC Inc., shall conform to generally accepted industry guidelines and standards.

Unless the BellSouth Certified Supplier has met the requirements for all of the required work activities, Neutral Tandem must use a different BellSouth Certified Supplier for the work activities associated with transmission equipment, switching equipment and power equipment. Neutral Tandem, if a BellSouth Certified Supplier, or Neutral Tandem’s BellSouth Certified Supplier(s) shall be responsible for installing Neutral Tandem’s equipment and associated components, extending power cabling to the BellSouth power distribution frame, performing operational tests after installation is complete, and notifying BellSouth’s equipment engineers and Neutral Tandem upon successful completion of the installation and any associated work.
