County communication systems may be used for Union business 28 involving electronic communications or Internet connections in the following 29 circumstances, but only when such use is also in conformance with the other 30 requirements of this Agreement. 1 i. On the employee’s own time, for the purposes of utilizing a 10 link on the Multnomah Commons, or its successor, to reach a Union internet site. Any 11 use of such sites will comply with County Personnel Rules and shall exclude blogging, 12 use of chat rooms, instant messaging or other live person to person electronic 13 communication, and political activities as prohibited by law. 14 v. For authorized Union officials only, and on such employee’s 15 own time, for the purpose of posting messages on the internet site provided for in (iv) 16 above. 17 vi. The Local 88 President or designee may use the County’s 18 electronic communication systems for the purpose of communicating with Local 88-2 19 members. All such communications shall comply with County Personnel Rules. 20 Communications that are sent to employees within a single Department shall be 21 approved by the Department Director or designee prior to distribution. Communications 22 that are distributed to employees in more than one Department shall be approved by the 23 director of Central Human Resources or Labor Relations prior to distribution. All such communications shall comply with County Personnel Rules. 20 vii. Stewards will make every effort to avoid disruptions and 22 b. The uses cited in “Subsection a” above may continue only to the 24 continued use of the cited computers, internet connection, intranet connection, etc. for 25 other County purposes. The content of any and all communications using the County 26 computer system is not privileged and may be subject to County review. 27 c. Access to the Multnomah Commons by any individual outside the 28 County raises major issues of policy related to privacy, security and cost. Therefore, the 29 Union business agent may have such access only if: 30 i. Access is approved by the County’s Chief Information Officer 31 (CIO), and subject to restrictions imposed by the CIO; and 1 ii. All costs associated with making access available and with 2 maintaining it are borne by the Union.

County computers may be used for Union business 29 involving E-Mail or Internet connections in the following circumstances, but only when 30 such use is also in conformance with the other requirements of this Agreement, 1 specifically to include the provisions of Article 18, “Section IV.B.2.a,” which requires 2 that stewards make every effort to avoid disruptions and interruptions of work. 3 1) When such use is de minimis and incidental, such 4 as arranging a meeting with a fellow shop xxxxxxx or the Council Representative. 5 2) For the purpose of conducting an investigation of a 6 grievance, such as individual inquiries to co-workers which would otherwise be 7 conducted over the telephone. 8 3) For the purpose of interacting with the County’s 9 representatives concerning Union-County business, such as setting dates for a 10 County-Union meeting, making inquiries regarding a grievance, etc. 11 4) On the employee’s own time, for the purposes of 12 utilizing a link on MultCo Commons, or its successor, to reach a Union Internet bulletin 13 board site. Any such site shall be subject to the same rules of content as a conventional 14 union bulletin board. 15 5) For authorized Union officials only, and on such 16 employee’s own time, for the purpose of posting messages on the Bulletin Board site 17 provided for in (4) above. 18 b. The uses cited in “Subsection a” above may continue only 19 to the extent that they are at no additional cost to the County, and are contingent on 20 the continued use of the cited computers, Internet connection, intranet connection, etc. 21 for other County purposes. The content of any and all communications using the 22 County computer system is not privileged and may be subject to County review. 23 c. Access to Multco Commons by any individual outside the 24 County raises major issues of policy related to privacy, security and cost. Therefore, 25 the Union business agent may have such access only if: 26 1) Access is approved by the County’s Chief 27 Information Officer, and subject to restrictions imposed by him or her; and 28 2) All costs associated with making access available 29 and with maintaining it are borne by the Union.

  • Internet Connection Certain Solutions may require an active and stable connection to the Internet in order to function. It is therefore your responsibility to ensure that you have at all times an active and stable Internet connection.

  • Communications and Computer Lines Tenant may install, maintain, replace, remove or use any communications or computer wires and cables (collectively, the “Lines”) at the Project in or serving the Premises, provided that (i) Tenant shall obtain Landlord’s prior written consent to the installation of any such Lines (such consent not to be unreasonably withheld), use an experienced and qualified contractor approved in writing by Landlord (such approval not to be unreasonably withheld), and comply with all of the other provisions of Articles 7 and 8 of this Lease, (ii) an acceptable amount of space for additional Lines shall be maintained for future occupants of the Project, as determined in Landlord’s reasonable opinion, (iii) the Lines (including riser cables) shall be appropriately insulated to prevent excessive electromagnetic fields or radiation, and shall be surrounded by a protective conduit reasonably acceptable to Landlord, (iv) any Lines servicing the Premises shall comply with all Applicable Laws, (v) as a condition to permitting the installation of new Lines, Landlord may require that Tenant remove existing Lines located in or serving the Premises that will no longer be used by Tenant and repair any damage in connection with such removal, and (vi) Tenant shall pay all costs in connection therewith. Landlord reserves the right to require that Tenant remove any Lines located in or serving the Premises which are installed in violation of these provisions, or which are at any time in violation of any Applicable Laws or represent a dangerous or potentially dangerous condition. Upon the expiration of the Lease Term, or immediately following any earlier termination of this Lease, Tenant shall, at Tenant’s sole cost and expense, remove all Lines installed by Tenant, and repair any damage caused by such removal.

  • Reservations for Registry Operations The following ASCII labels must be withheld from registration or allocated to Registry Operator at All Levels for use in connection with the operation of the registry for the TLD: WWW, RDDS and WHOIS. The following ASCII label must be allocated to Registry Operator at All Levels for use in connection with the operation of the registry for the TLD: NIC. Registry Operator may activate WWW, RDDS and WHOIS in the DNS, but must activate NIC in the DNS, as necessary for the operation of the TLD. None of WWW, RDDS, WHOIS or NIC may be released or registered to any person (other than Registry Operator) or third party. Upon conclusion of Registry Operator’s designation as operator of the registry for the TLD all such withheld or allocated names shall be transferred as specified by ICANN. Registry Operator may self-allocate and renew such names without use of an ICANN accredited registrar, which will not be considered Transactions for purposes of Section 6.1 of the Agreement. Registry Operator may activate in the DNS at All Levels up to one hundred (100) names (plus their IDN variants, where applicable) necessary for the operation or the promotion of the TLD. Registry Operator must act as the Registered Name Holder of such names as that term is defined in the then-current ICANN Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA). These activations will be considered Transactions for purposes of Section 6.1 of the Agreement. Registry Operator must either (i) register such names through an ICANN-accredited registrar; or (ii) self-allocate such names and with respect to those names submit to and be responsible to ICANN for compliance with ICANN Consensus Policies and the obligations set forth in Subsections 3.7.7.1 through 3.7.7.12 of the then-current RAA (or any other replacement clause setting out the terms of the registration agreement between a registrar and a registered name holder). At Registry Operator’s discretion and in compliance with all other terms of this Agreement, such names may be released for registration to another person or entity. Registry Operator may withhold from registration or allocate to Registry Operator names (including their IDN variants, where applicable) at All Levels in accordance with Section 2.6 of the Agreement. Such names may not be activated in the DNS, but may be released for registration to another person or entity at Registry Operator’s discretion. Upon conclusion of Registry Operator’s designation as operator of the registry for the TLD, all such names that remain withheld from registration or allocated to Registry Operator shall be transferred as specified by ICANN. Upon ICANN’s request, Registry Operator shall provide a listing of all names withheld or allocated to Registry Operator pursuant to Section 2.6 of the Agreement. Registry Operator may self-allocate and renew such names without use of an ICANN accredited registrar, which will not be considered Transactions for purposes of Section 6.1 of the Agreement.

  • REQUESTS FOR FLEXIBLE WORKING ARRANGEMENTS 49.1 Employee may request change in working arrangements s.65 of the Act. Note 1: Section 65 of the Act provides for certain Employees to request a change in their working arrangements because of their circumstances, as set out in s.65(1A).

  • PROHIBITION ON CERTAIN TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SERVICES OR EQUIPMENT To the extent applicable, Supplier certifies that during the term of this Contract it will comply with applicable requirements of 2 C.F.R. § 200.216.

The encryption solution must be full disk unless approved by the DHCS Information Security Office.

  • Internet Use Customer assumes total responsibility for its and its users’ use of the Internet. Masergy specifically disclaims any warranties, endorsements or representations regarding any merchandise, information, software, products, data, files, or services provided through the Internet.

  • County of Orange Child Support Enforcement Subrecipient certifies it is in full compliance with all applicable federal and state reporting requirements regarding its employees and with all lawfully served Wage and Earnings Assignment Orders and Notices of Assignments and will continue to be in compliance throughout the term of the Contract with the County of Orange. Failure to comply shall constitute a material breach of the Contract and failure to cure such breach within 60 calendar days of notice from the County shall constitute grounds for termination of the Contract.
