Common use of Vacation Accrual Limit Clause in Contracts

Vacation Accrual Limit. A full-time employee may accrue up to three hundred sixty (360) hours [forty-five (45) days] of unused vacation days as of September 1 of each fiscal year. The District will annually provide written notification to employees of their vacation balances. If an approved written request for use of accrued vacation days is subsequently denied and the days cannot be rescheduled during the remainder of the year, the employee will be allowed to carry the requested amount as excess to the above stated amounts into the following year.
