Vacation and Leaves of Absence. The Executive shall be entitled to the normal and customary amount of paid vacation provided to senior executive officers of the Company, but in no event less than 20 days during each 12 month period, beginning on the Commencement Date of this Agreement. Any vacation days that are not taken in a given 12 month period shall not accrue or carry-over from year to year. Upon any termination of this Agreement for any reason whatsoever, accrued and unused vacation for the year in which this Agreement terminates will be paid to the Executive within 10 days of such termination based on his annual rate of Base Compensation in effect on the date of such termination. In addition, the Executive may be granted leaves of absence with or without pay for such valid and legitimate reasons as the Company in its sole and absolute discretion may determine, and the Executive shall be entitled to the same sick leave and holidays provided to other senior executives of the Company.

Vacation and Leaves of Absence. Executive shall be entitled to four (4) weeks of paid vacation leave during each twelve (12) month calendar period (considered to be granted for each half-year as of the first day of that half-year) and paid holidays in accordance with the Company's established policies. Executive may accrue unused vacation time if not used in any calendar year or years, however, the maximum cumulative amount of vacation time that Executive may accrue and carry over to the next year is four weeks. In addition to the foregoing, Executive may be granted leaves of absence with or without pay for such other reasons as shall be mutually agreed upon by the Board and Executive.

Vacation and Leaves of Absence. The Resident shall be entitled to vacation paid leave according to the Vacation Policy as outlined in the MMC House Officers’ Manual and additional leave time (e.g., Family Medical, Medical, Personal, Educational, and Military) according to the “Leave of Absence Policy for House Officers” as outlined in the MMC House Officers’ Manual and MMC Human Resources policies, then in effect. Approved leave of absences taken prior to the Resident’s last year of postgraduate training shall require the Resident to complete the training missed while on an approved leave of absence in order for the Resident to be reappointed or advance to the next postgraduate level as more fully described in the MMC House Officers’ Manual.
