Common use of VACATION - HOSPITALIZED Clause in Contracts

VACATION - HOSPITALIZED. BEDRIDDEN In the event that an Employee is hospitalized for twenty-four (24) or more hours or bed- ridden for three (3) or more days during his/her vacation, sick leave may be substituted for vacation leave. The Employee shall provide a medical certificate attesting to the fact that the hospitalization or bed rest was necessary and indicating the time period involved.
