Common use of Vacation Pay Advance Clause in Contracts

Vacation Pay Advance. Employees shall be permitted to receive a biweekly paycheck in advance of the normal biweekly payday provided that: A. The employee requests to receive the advance biweekly paycheck no earlier than nineteen (19) days prior to the normal payday and no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the normal payday. B. The request to receive the advance biweekly paycheck is approved by the department or division head. C. The employee will be on paid vacation leave for five (5) consecutive days, one of which will be the normal biweekly payday and one (1) of which will be the day preceding the normal biweekly payday.
