Vacation Schedule Selection. Vacation requests not scheduled during the vacation selection period between October 15 and November 15 each year must be submitted through KIOSK, or similar system, for approval. The supervisor will use KIOSK to notify the employee in writing within ten (10) work days whether the vacation request has been approved. After approving the requested vacation, the district shall not be able to change approved vacation without the written consent of the bargaining unit employee and the Union Business Representative. Vacation time shall be used in equivalent whole day or one-half (1/2) day hours. Example: Eight (8) hours = One (1) full work day Four (4) hours = One-half (1/2) day
