Vacations Non-Accumulative. (a) An employee may carryover up to five (5) days' vacation leave per vacation year except that such vacation carryover shall not exceed ten (10) days at anytime. All vacation time not requested for scheduling or carryover by three (3) months prior to the end of the vacation year will be scheduled by the Employer following consultation with the employee. (b) A single vacation period which overlaps the end of a vacation year shall be considered as vacation for the vacation year in which it commenced. The portion of vacation taken subsequent to but adjoining the end of the vacation year shall not be considered as vacation carryover, nor as a seniority choice for the subsequent vacation year.
