Common use of Visitation Leave Clause in Contracts

Visitation Leave. At the superintendent’s discretion, one (1) visiting day per school year for educational purposes may be granted to any teacher. The Association recognizes that the intent of the Board in providing this day is to allow teachers an opportunity to acquaint themselves with outstanding examples of educational projects or facilities which would result in benefits to the Wakefield-Marenisco program. An approved visiting day shall count as a teaching day.
