Voluntary Part-time Benefits. Process for payment The Employer agrees to provide part-time nurses with the option of voluntary participation in any and all of the group health and welfare benefit programs set out in Article 17. It is understood and agreed that the part-time nurses who participate will assume the monthly premiums. Any part time nurse who wishes to participate will provide payment of the benefits either through post-dated cheques provided on a yearly basis or through a preauthorized withdrawal process at the employer's discretion. It is understood that any transaction would be dated the first of each and every month. The Employer will notify the Union of the benefit costs to part time nurses in January of each year, and each time the benefit costs are renegotiated by the Employer.

Any part time nurse who wishes to participate will provide payment of the benefits either through post-dated cheques provided on a yearly basis or through a preauthorized withdrawal process at the employer's discretionprocess.
