Voluntary Reassignment. Full-time faculty may request a voluntary reassignment to an open position to take effect at the beginning of the next academic semester. 18.2.1 The request for voluntary transfer shall be made within the five (5) business days after the posting or announcement of the notice of vacancy. 18.2.2 All requests for voluntary reassignment shall be considered on the basis of the following criteria: credentials to perform the service; experience and training within the subject area; requirements and specifications of the position; and seniority. 18.2.3 If a voluntary reassignment request is denied, the full-time faculty, upon request, shall be provided with specific reasons for the denial.
