Voting locations will be, whenever possible, the usual voting location for each election precinct in elections conducted by each participating city, and shall be compliant with the accessibility requirements established by Election Code Section 43.034 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The proposed voting locations are listed in Attachment A of this agreement. In the event that a voting location is not available or appropriate, the Elections Administrator will arrange for use of an alternate location with the approval of the affected participating authorities. The Elections Administrator shall notify the participating authorities of any changes from the locations listed in Attachment A. If polling places for the May 14, 2011 joint election are different from the polling place(s) used by a participating authority in its most recent election, the authority agrees to post a notice no later than May 13, 2011 at the entrance to any previous polling places in the jurisdiction stating that the polling location has changed and stating the political subdivision’s polling place names and addresses in effect for the May 14, 2011 election. This notice shall be written in both the English and Spanish languages.

Voters from Political Subdivisions participating in this Joint Election may cast a ballot at any polling location open for this election. VOTING LOCATIONS. The County Clerk's Election Office shall select and arrange for the use of and payment for all election-day voting locations. Voting locations will be, whenever possible, the usual voting location for each election precinct in elections conducted by the County. The proposed voting locations will be provided once the final candidate filing deadline has been met and listed as Attachment "A." If a voting location is unavailable, the Elections Department will arrange for an alternate location with the approval of the Political Subdivision. The Elections Department shall notify the Political Subdivision of any changes from the locations listed in Attachment "A." If polling places for the joint election in Attachment "A" are different from the polling place(s) used by Political Subdivision in its most recent election, Political Subdivision agrees to post a notice no later than the date of the election described in Attachment "A," at the entrance to any previous polling places in the jurisdiction, stating that the polling location has changed, and displaying the political subdivision's polling place name(s) and address(s) in effect for the election described in Attachment "A." Any voting location changes from those used in the most recent COUNTYWIDE JOINT election will be posted by the County Clerk's Election Office.

Voters from political subdivisions participating in this Joint Election may cast a ballot at any polling location open for this Election. The Elections Administrator will coordinate and arrange for Early Voting and Election Day voting locations. The Elections Administrator shall notify each participating political subdivision of the voting locations and any necessary changes to such locations. If polling places for the May 6, 2023 Joint Election are different from the polling place(s) used by the Political Subdivision in its most recent election, the Elections Administrator agrees to post a notice no later than Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the entrance to any previous polling locations in the jurisdiction stating that the polling location has changed and stating the polling location names and addresses in effect for the May 6, 2023 election. The Parties agree and acknowledge that early and Election Day polling locations, as well as dates and times for voting, are subject to change, including, but not limited to, complying with social distancing, health, or safety requirements or restrictions, or any other requirement or restriction, established by a Governor’s Executive Order or local emergency declaration or order.
VOTING LOCATIONS. The City will match their polling places to the Board’s unless the Board approves using a separate Polling Place prior to the City choosing a different polling place. If the City receives approval to change their polling place, they shall be responsible for all legal notices and possible preclearance associated with the change. The City shall reimburse the Board the real cost of any rental fee associated with the use of a facility as a Polling Place.
