Wage Rates, Lump Sum Payments and Bonuses. A. Effective retroactively from the beginning of the pay period that includes the date of January 14, 2019, all ranges and steps in Schedule E shall be increased by two percent (2%). Contemporaneously, all employees who were previously on the wage scale that was applicable to employees hired after August 5, 2013 will be moved to a step in the applicable range in the scale applicable to employees hired prior to August 5, 2013 that guarantees an increase over their then current wage rate. Any employee who moves wage scales and does not recognize an increase of at least two percent (2%) will receive a lump sum payment reflective of the difference between the new pay rate and two percent (2%)

Wage Rates, Lump Sum Payments and Bonuses. A. Effective from the beginning of the pay period that includes the date this Agreement is executed, all active bargaining unit employees shall receive a 2% wage increase. Effective January 1, 2017, all active bargaining unit employees shall receive an Eighteen Cents ($.18) per hour increase. The increase in the hourly wage rate is due to the indefinite elimination of the longevity program set forth in the Article 21 of the previous collective bargaining agreement. Wage rates for all bargaining unit employees shall be in accordance with Schedule E attached as Addendum 1. Pursuant to Schedule E, bargaining unit employees hired into the bargaining unit prior to August 8, 2013 are subject to the wage scales attached as Addendum 1-A. Employees hired into the bargaining on or after August 8, 2013 shall be subject to the wage scales attached as Addendum 1-B (with a 10% decrease in pay rates from the scale of Addendum 1-A).

  • Lump Sum Payments If, during the Employment Period, the Company terminates the Executive's employment other than for Cause, or the Executive terminates employment for Good Reason, the Company shall pay to the Executive the following amounts:

  • Salary Payments For payroll purposes, the work week shall be defined as Monday through Sunday. In any school year, the dollar amounts on the first and last paychecks of the year may vary.

  • Lump Sum Payment Upon award of the contract for this improvement, the LA will pay to the STATE, in lump sum, an amount equal to 80% of the LA’s estimated obligation incurred under this Agreement, and will pay to the STATE the remainder of the LA’s obligation (including any nonparticipating costs) in a lump sum, upon completion of the project based upon final costs. Method B - Monthly Payments. Upon award of the contract for this improvement, the LA will pay to the STATE, a specified amount each month for an estimated period of months, or until 80% of the LA’s estimated obligation under the provisions of the Agreement has been paid, and will pay to the STATE the remainder of the LA’s obligation (including any nonparticipating costs) in a lump sum, upon completion of the project based upon final costs.

  • DEDUCTION FROM SALARY A. The Board agrees to deduct from the salaries of its employees dues for the Flemington-Raritan Education Association, Hunterdon County Education Association, the New Jersey Education Association, and the National Education Association, as said teachers individually and voluntarily authorize the Board to deduct. Said deductions shall be made in compliance with N.J.S.A. 52-14-15.9(e) and under rules established by the State Department of Education. Said moneys, together with records of any corrections, shall be transmitted to the Treasurer of the Flemington-Raritan Education Association by the 15th of each month following the monthly pay period in which deductions were made. Upon termination of employment of any teacher, the disbursing officer shall deduct any remaining amount due for that current school year. The Association Treasurer shall disburse such moneys to the appropriate association or associations. Teacher authorizations shall be in writing in the form set forth: AUTHORIZATION TO DEDUCT ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP DUES Name Soc. Sec. # School Bldg. District To: Disbursing Officer Board of Education I hereby request and authorize the above-named disbursing officer to deduct from my earnings an amount sufficient to provide for the payment of those yearly membership dues, as certified by the organizations indicated, in equal monthly payments for all or part of the current school year and for the succeeding school year. I understand that the disbursing officer will discontinue such deductions only if I file such notice of withdrawal which shall be effective to halt deductions as of the January 1st or July 1st date. I also agree that upon termination of employment, the disbursing officer shall deduct any remaining amount due for that current school year. I hereby waive all right and claim for said moneys so deducted and transmitted in accordance with this authorization, and relieve the governing Board and all its officers from any liability thereof.
