WAGES AND HOURS OF WORK. 11.01 Wages shall be paid in accordance with the rates set forth in Schedule “D” of this Agreement. 11.02 The normal work week shall be forty (40) hours (Monday to Friday, inclusive) and the normal work day consists of eight (8) hours. The Company will maintain an overtime roster. (c) The Company will give as much notice as possible before requesting an employee to work overtime. If notice is not given at the close of the shift prior to which the employee would normally complete his work, the Company will pay such employee a meal allowance of five dollars ($5.00). (d) When scheduled overtime is cancelled with less than twenty four (24) hours written notice prior to the start of the scheduled overtime, the Company will pay those employees having agreed to work overtime as if they had worked such overtime. A notice advising of the cancellation of scheduled overtime posted on the Company Bulletin Board will be deemed to be written notice to all employees as of the time of posting. 11.08 A shift premium of twenty-five ($.25) per hour will be paid for all hours worked outside the normal day shift hours and except where it becomes overtime for a shift for which no premium is paid. 11.09 Under normal circumstances, employees will be paid on Friday of each week, no later than noon. 11.10 Any employee reporting for work as required will be paid four (4) hours wages when there is no work available, unless the reason that no work is available results from war, civil insurrection, Acts of God, fire, flooding tempest, vandalism, electrical failure, mechanical failure, destruction of Company premises, or other reasons beyond the control of the Company.

(d) When scheduled overtime is cancelled with less than twenty twenty-four (24) hours written notice prior to the start of the scheduled overtime, the Company will pay those employees having agreed to work overtime as if they had worked such overtime. A notice advising of the cancellation of scheduled overtime posted on the Company Bulletin Board will be deemed to be written notice to all employees as of the time of posting.
11.08 A In the event that the Employer introduces an afternoon shift, a shift premium of twenty-five cents ($.250.25) per hour will be paid for all hours worked outside the normal day shift hours and except where it becomes overtime for a shift for which no premium is paid.
11.09 Under normal circumstances, employees Employees will be paid on Friday a bi-weekly basis by way of direct deposit into each week, no later than noonEmployee’s account on Friday. Any Employee whose pay is incorrect will have a cheque cut by the Company within a seven (7) day period.
11.10 Any employee reporting for work as required will be paid four (4) hours wages when there is no work available, unless the reason that no work is available results from war, civil insurrection, Acts of God, fire, flooding tempest, vandalism, electrical failure, mechanical failure, destruction of Company premises, or other reasons beyond the control of the Company.
