Common use of Waiver of Vacation Clause in Contracts

Waiver of Vacation. A vacation may not be waived by an employee and extra pay received for work during that period. If an employee is required by the Employer to reschedule his/her vacation, then the maximum carry-over provision of Section 15.2 will not be invoked, provided the employee utilizes the excess hours within thirty (30) calendar days.
