Water, Industrial and Sanitary Sewage Systems. Tenant acknowledges and agrees that Tenant shall satisfy all stormwater drainage requirements applicable to Tenant’s development within the boundaries of the Premises and shall not use adjacent County-owned property to satisfy stormwater drainage requirements, unless approved by County by amendment to this Lease or by separate agreement or easement, which approval shall be in County’s sole and absolute discretion. In the event County authorizes stormwater drainage requirements to be satisfied, in part, outside of the boundaries of the Premises on adjacent County-owned property, Tenant acknowledges and agrees that the first one-half (½) inch of stormwater runoff must be pretreated within the Premises prior to discharging into the primary drainage system to ensure that any potential releases of pollutants or contaminants with the Premises are controlled and isolated. Notwithstanding the foregoing, County shall have the right, in its sole and absolute discretion and at its sole cost and expense, to relocate or otherwise modify any stormwater drainage improvements located outside the Premises; provided that such relocation or modification does not negatively impact the Premises’ drainage. Tenant shall provide, operate and maintain adequate facilities for separating, neutralizing and treating industrial waste and foreign materials generated within the Premises and the proper disposal thereof as required by all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulation and rules, as now or hereafter amended.

Water, Industrial and Sanitary Sewage Systems. Tenant shall operate and maintain, at its sole cost and expense, all the components of any and all water, industrial and sanitary sewage system(s) and storm water drainage facilities serving the Premises that are located within the Premises. Tenant shall provide, operate and maintain adequate facilities for separating, neutralizing and treating industrial waste and foreign materials generated within the Premises and the proper disposal thereof as required by all applicable Federal, State and local laws, regulation and rules, as now or hereafter amended.

  • Drainage Systems (1) Clear culvert inlets, outlets, and sediment catching basins. (2) Maintain waterbars, drainage dips, and other water diversion measures. (3) During active use, patrol and maintain functional drainage. (4) Repair damaged culvert ends.

  • Utilities and Appliances (1) The owner must provide all utilities needed to comply with the HQS. (2) The owner is not responsible for a breach of the HQS caused by the tenant’s failure to: (a) Pay for any utilities that are to be paid by the tenant. (b) Provide and maintain any appliances that are to be provided by the tenant.

  • Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures 1. The rights and obligations of the Parties in respect of sanitary and phytosanitary measures shall be governed by the WTO Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures. 2. The Parties shall exchange names and addresses of contact points with sanitary and phytosanitary expertise in order to facilitate communication and the exchange of information.

  • OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY 34.01 The parties recognize the need for a safe and healthy workplace. The Employer shall be responsible for providing safe and healthy working conditions. The Employer and Employees will take all reasonable steps to eliminate, reduce or minimize all workplace safety hazards. Occupational health and safety education, training and instruction provided by the Employer, shall be paid at the Basic Rate of Pay, to fulfill the requirements for training, instruction or education set out in the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulation or Code. (a) There shall be an Occupational Health and Safety Committee (Committee), which shall be composed of representatives of the Employer and representatives of the Local and may include others representing recognized functional bargaining units. This Committee shall meet once a month, and in addition shall meet within 10 days of receiving a written complaint regarding occupational health or safety. An Employee shall be paid the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay for attendance at Committee meetings. A request to establish separate committees for each site or grouping of sites shall not be unreasonably denied. The Employer shall provide training at no cost to all Employees on the Committee to assist them in performing their duties on the Committee. Training shall be paid at the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay. (b) Minutes of each meeting shall be taken and shall be approved by the Employer, the Local, and other bargaining groups, referred to in (a), prior to circulation. (c) The purpose of the Committee is to consider such matters as occupational health and safety and the Local may make recommendations to the Employer in that regard. (d) If an issue arises regarding occupational health or safety, the Employee or the Local shall first seek to resolve the issue through discussion with the applicable immediate supervisor in an excluded management position. If the issue is not resolved satisfactorily, it may then be forwarded in writing to the Committee. (e) The Committee shall also consider measures necessary to ensure the security of each Employee on the Employer’s premises and the Local may make recommendations to the Employer in that regard. (f) (i) Should an issue not be resolved by the Committee, the issue shall be referred to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). A resolution meeting between the Local and the CEO, or designate(s), shall take place within 21 calendar days of the issue being referred to the CEO. The CEO or designate(s) shall reply in writing to the Local within seven (7) calendar days of the resolution meeting.

  • Fuel The Vehicle must be returned with the amount of fuel equal to that at the time of the commencement of the rental. If the Vehicle is returned with less fuel, the difference will be charged to You at a rate of $5.00 per litre (which includes a service component).

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.

  • Transportation Management Tenant shall fully comply with all present or future programs intended to manage parking, transportation or traffic in and around the Building, and in connection therewith, Tenant shall take responsible action for the transportation planning and management of all employees located at the Premises by working directly with Landlord, any governmental transportation management organization or any other transportation-related committees or entities.
