Welfare and Other Benefit Plans. During the Employment Period, the Executive and/or the Executive's family, as the case may be, shall be eligible for participation in and shall receive all benefits and executive perquisites under welfare, fringe, change of control protection, incentive, vacation and other similar benefit plans, practices, policies and programs provided by the Company and its affiliated entities (including, without limitation, medical, prescription, dental, disability, employee life, group life, accidental death and travel accident insurance plans and programs) to the extent applicable generally to other peer executives of the Company and its affiliated entities.

With respect to the Company's welfare benefit plans, the Company shall cause any such plan to waive any pre-existing condition exclusions and actively- at-work requirements thereunder with respect to the Executive and his eligible dependents and shall ensure that any covered expenses incurred on or before the Commencement Date shall be taken into account for purposes of satisfying applicable deductible, coinsurance and maximum out-of-pocket provisions after the Commencement Date to the extent that such expenses are taken into account for the benefit of peer executives of the Company.

Welfare and Other Benefit Plans. During the Employment Period, the Executive and/or the Executive's family, as the case may be, shall be eligible for participation in and shall receive all benefits under welfare, fringe, change of control protection, vacation and other similar benefit plans, practices, policies and programs provided by the Company (including, without limitation, medical, prescription, dental, disability, employee life, group life, accidental death and travel accident insurance plans and programs), or, in the Executive's sole discretion, to the extent permitted by law and provided that the Executive's participation shall not cause any such plan to lose its tax-qualified status, such Fleet Plans as are generally applicable to peer executives of Fleet Financial and its affiliated companies. With respect to Fleet Financial's welfare benefit plans which the Executive elects to participate in, Fleet Financial shall cause any Fleet Plan to waive any preexisting condition exclusions and actively-at-work requirements thereunder with respect to the Executive and the Executive's eligible dependents and shall ensure that any covered expenses incurred on or before the date the Executive's and/or the Executive's family's participation commences shall be taken into account for purposes of satisfying applicable deductible, coinsurance and maximum out-of-pocket provisions after the date participation commences.
Welfare and Other Benefit Plans. During the Employment Period, the Executive (and his eligible spouse and dependents) shall be covered by medical and dental plans in which he is a participant as of the Effective Date or by a comparable plan, and he shall be entitled to participate in all other medical and welfare benefit plans and programs maintained by the Company from time to time for the benefit of its senior executives. In addition, during the Employment Period, the Executive shall be eligible to participate in all pension, retirement, savings and other employee benefit plans and programs, including stock option and other equity plans, maintained from time to time by the Company for the benefit of its senior executives, other than any annual cash incentive plan.
Welfare and Other Benefit Plans. During the Employment Period, the Executive and/or the Executive's family, as the case may be, shall be eligible for participation in and shall receive all benefits under welfare, fringe, vacation and other similar benefit plans, practices, policies and programs in effect with respect to peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies (including, without limitation, medical, prescription, dental, disability, employee life, group life, accidental death and travel accident insurance plans and programs) on the same basis as peer executives of the Company and its affiliated companies. During the period from the Commencement Date through the first anniversary thereof, the benefits provided to the Executive under such plans, practices, policies and programs will be substantially similar in the aggregate to those currently provided by the Company to the Executive. For purposes of all such plans, the Executive shall receive full credit for all service with the Company prior to the Commencement Date for all purposes, except for benefit levels or amounts under any AIG welfare benefit plans. With respect to welfare benefit plans, any preexisting condition exclusions and eligibility waiting periods thereunder shall be waived with respect to the Executive and the Executive's eligible dependents and any covered expenses incurred on or before the Commencement Date shall be taken into account for purposes of satisfying applicable deductibles and annual out-of-pocket limits after the Commencement Date.
