Common use of Work on a Holiday Clause in Contracts

Work on a Holiday. Article 9, Section 5 shall be supplemented as follows: A supervisor working in a Department of Corrections Facility shall receive a holiday premium of $40.00 for each four (4) hours or portion thereof worked up to a maximum of $80.00 for those holiday hours specifically assigned by the supervisor's superior and worked on the holiday. Supervisors in the classification of Corrections Lieutenant who are assigned to rotating weekend coverage, may carry the hours earned as a result of that assignment for three (3) additional pay periods for use by the end of the third (3rd) payroll period.
