WORK ON COMPANY POLES. Permittee and its duly authorized contractors, agents and employees (“Permittee’s Workers”) shall avoid directly climbing the Company Poles and, if possible, use a ladder or bucket truck to perform work on the Company Pole Attachments. If the use of a ladder or bucket truck is not feasible, Permittee’s workers shall exercise best efforts to make certain that the poles or structures are strong enough to safely sustain the workers’ weight or the change in applied stress before climbing any poles or structures. HOWEVER, IN NO EVENT SHALL PERMITTEE’S WORKERS CLIMB OR MAKE CONTACT WITH ANY PORTION OF THE ELECTRIC SUPPLY SPACE ON THE COMPANY POLES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WIRES, CABLES, RISERS, CONDUIT, CROSS ARMS

HOWEVER, IN NO EVENT SHALL PERMITTEE’S WORKERS CLIMB OR MAKE CONTACT WITH ANY PORTION OF THE ELECTRIC SUPPLY SPACE ON THE COMPANY POLES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE WIRES, CABLES, RISERS, CONDUIT, CROSS ARMS AND OTHER APPLIANCES OR OTHER ELEMENTS OF THE COMPANY’S ELECTRICAL SUPPLY SYSTEM. All work on the Company Poles, or under this Agreement to be performed in the proximity of energized electrical conductors shall only be performed by qualified electrical workers in accordance with Title 8 -- State of California High Voltage Safety Orders as amended. Permittee shall provide the Company forty-eight (48) hours advance notice by calling the Company’s designated representative before any work is performed on the Company Overhead Facilities when an electric service shutdown is not required. If an electric service shutdown is required, the Permittee shall arrange a specific schedule with the Company prior to performing any work on the Company Overhead Facilities. The Company reserves the right to an authorized employee or agent of the Company being present when the Permittee’s employee’s, agents, or contractors will be permitted to work in secured areas where safety or system reliability of the Company Overhead Facilities are an issue. Permittee agrees to pay the Company for such Company’s employee based upon the Company’s then current fully loaded labor rate.

  • Company Policies The employment relationship between the parties shall be governed by the general employment policies and practices of the Company, except that when the terms of this Agreement differ from or are in conflict with such employment policies and practices, this Agreement shall control.

  • Employee Workload ‌ The Employer shall ensure that an employee’s workload is not unsafe as a result of employee absence(s). Employees may refer safety related workload concerns to the Occupational Health and Safety Committee for investigation under Article 22.3 (Occupational Health and Safety Committee).

  • Sick Leave While on Vacation An employee who while on vacation is incapacitated for one (1) or more days due to personal illness or injury may charge such days to accrued sick leave. In such event, the employee promptly shall notify his department, and upon return to duty shall substantiate the need for, and use of, sick leave.

  • Holidays Worked When an employee works on a calendar holiday, he/she shall receive payment of the holiday at the regular rate and in addition, at the discretion of the Employer, (1) be paid at the rate of time and one half for hours actually worked on the holiday or (2) be given compensatory time off equal to one and one half the number of hours actually worked.

  • Sick Leave Donations Employees in the Unit as well as officers above the rank of sergeant and other non-bargaining unit employees in the Police Department may donate sick leave for the purpose of providing authorized sick leave to any Unit member who has exhausted all accrued annual, compensatory and sick leave. Sick leave means leave earned under Section A. of this Article. The procedures governing donation of sick leave followed in implementing the Sick Leave Donor Program established by the predecessor Agreement between the parties shall remain in effect, except as provided in Section P of this Article. Where the FOP has an established leave donation agreement with another bargaining unit within Xxxxxxxxxx County, the employer agrees to honor the agreement pursuant to the applicable contractual requirements of the bargaining unit and transfer sick leave as requested.   • Employee Handbook (A) If the Contractor has an employee handbook, the Contractor shall include the following information:

  • Time Worked For purposes of computing the eight (8) hour day or the forty (40) hour week to determine entitlement to overtime pay, all sick leave, vacation leave, and holidays shall count as time worked to be added to other hours worked.

  • Weeks Vacation Subject to Article 17.08 and Article 17.01 (a) (ii), employees shall be entitled to take five (5) weeks vacation leave with pay during the first and subsequent complete fiscal years following the date in which they complete fourteen (14) years of service. Such leave shall be earned at the rate of two and one-twelfth (2 1/12) days for each completed calendar month of service.

  • Sick Leave Donation In accord with state law and Medical Center policy, RN’s may donate sick leave to any employee entitled to receive such donations.

  • Overtime Work A. Overtime pay is to be paid at the rate of one and one- half (1½) times the basic hourly straight-time rate.
