Common use of WORKDAY/WORKWEEK DEFINED Clause in Contracts

WORKDAY/WORKWEEK DEFINED. For the purposes of this Agreement, a working day is the period from midnight to midnight. Where shifts overlap into two (2) working days, payment shall be made for the hours worked on each working day in accordance with the rate established for such days. A workweek as used in the Agreement shall be a consecutive seven (7) day period, as designated by the Employer, provided that any change of the workweek is done for all stores in the bargaining unit.
