Worker’s Compensation and Employer’s Insurance. Insurance or qualified self-insurance satisfying statutory requirements, which includes Employers’ Liability coverage with limits of not less than $1 million per accident. If Contractor will provide leased employees, or, is an employee leasing or temporary staffing firm or a professional employer organization (PEO), coverage also shall include an Alternate Employer Endorsement (providing scope of coverage equivalent to ISO policy form XX 00 00 00 X) naming County as the Alternate Employer, and the endorsement form shall be modified to provide that County will receive not less than thirty (30) days advance written notice of cancellation of this coverage provision. If applicable to Contractor’s operations, coverage also shall be arranged to satisfy the requirements of any federal workers or workmen’s compensation law or any federal occupational disease law.
Worker’s Compensation and Employer’s Insurance. Architect shall furnish to the Owner satisfactory proof that the Architect and all engineers, experts, consultants and employees for the period of this Agreement, is providing workers’ compensation insurance with $1,000,000.00 coverage for all persons whom they may employ in carrying out the Work contemplated under this Agreement in accordance with the Workers’ Compensation Laws of the State of California. If the Architect employs any engineer, expert consultant or subcontractor which it did not intend to employ prior to commencement of services, it must furnish such proof of insurance covering said engineer, expert, consultant or subcontractor to the Owner immediately upon their employment. Such insurance shall be maintained in full force and effect during the period covered by this Agreement including any extensions of time.

  • Worker's Compensation and Employer's Liability Insurance The Contractor shall have in effect during the entire life of this Agreement Workers' Compensation and Employer's Liability Insurance providing full statutory coverage. In signing this Agreement, the Contractor certifies, as required by Section 1861 of the California Labor Code, that it is aware of the provisions of Section 3700 of the California Labor Code which requires every employer to be insured against liability for Worker's Compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of the Code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the work of this Agreement.
