Common use of Working Alone or in Isolation Clause in Contracts

Working Alone or in Isolation. The Employer will ensure there is a check in program in place for those who work alone under which conditions may present a risk of disabling injury as outlined in the WorkSafe BC Regulations. This will be done in consultation with the Occupational Health and Safety Committee. The Occupational Health and Safety Committee shall have the mandate to review procedures established by the Employer to check the well-being of employees working alone or in isolation under conditions which present a risk of disabling injury where the employee may not be able to secure assistance in the event of injury. The Committee shall have the right to make recommendations to the Employer regarding such procedures.
