Xxxxxx and Recall From Layoff shall be applied. In the alternative, the involved incumbent employee may elect to remain in the reclassified position and the incumbent employees’ pay shall be determined in accordance with Section 9.03, Subd. 3 of this Agreement. The Human Resources Department will develop an initial schedule of class maintenance studies in conjunction with the Union that provides that each class will be reviewed within six (6) calendar years from the date of execution of this Agreement. Thereafter, Human Resources will develop an on-going schedule of class maintenance studies that provides for a maintenance study on a rotating basis at least once every four (4) calendar years. Such studies may be done more frequently as needed to maintain the integrity of the classification system.
