If you want to be insured with us, we need your data for the conclusion of the contract and for the assessment of the risk we are tak- ing. If the insurance contract is concluded, we process this data in order to issue you the policy or to be able to send you an invoice. INFORMATION ON DATA PROTECTION. The personal data you provide on your application for the Deutschlandstipendium will be confidentially handled. It will only be called up and used for the selection of a suitable applicant and for the execution of the Deutschlandstipendium. Applicants for the scholarship programme are required to share information which is essential in determining fulfilment of the merit and aptitude requirements. Proof of claims need to be submitted accordingly. The legal foundation for your obligation to cooperate is § 10 of the scholarship programme law (StipG). We are aware that some of the information is particularly confidential. A few of the statements (e.g. about illnesses or migration background) are also so-called special types of personal data according to data protection laws. Your information will always be handled confidentially. In the case that your application is not successful in this round of selection, then we will save your data for a maximum of 12 months in order to make it so that a new application in the next selection process is simplified.
