SAFETY. General: The contractor shall provide and maintain work environments and procedures which will safeguard the public and Government personnel, property, materials, supplies, and equipment exposed to contractor operations and activities; avoid interruptions of Government operations and delays in project completion dates; and, control costs in the performance of this contract. - All work must be carried out by German local, state and federal safety standards, and to the US Army Corps of Engineer Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1), which ever standard is strictest. - Contractor must comply with the standards issued by any local government authority having jurisdiction over occupational health and safety issues. - Contractor must ensure that any additional measures the contracting officer determines to be reasonably necessary for this purpose are taken. - Contractor must provide a point of contact that is responsible for all safety matters on the site. This person must be readily available, either by phone or in person at any time the project is in progress. The designated safety contact must visit and inspect the site. While the point of contact is off site, there shall be one designated foreman or superintendent in charge of safety issues for both the general contractor and any subcontractors that they employ. - The name of the company, safety contact, and USG consulate contact, including all telephone numbers must be listed as a notice. (plastic laminate or similar) and hung at each entrance to the building during the work. - Temporary wiring, use of portable electric tools, or other recognized electrical hazards. Temporary wiring and portable electric tools require the use of a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) in the affected circuits; other electrical hazards may also require the use of a GFCI; - Hazardous materials material with a physical or health hazard including but not limited to, flammable, explosive, corrosive, toxic, reactive or unstable, or any operations which creates any kind of contamination inside an occupied building such as dust from demolition activities, paints, solvents, etc. Use of hazardous materials or work that results in hazardous conditions being present must have a control plan submitted to & approved by the COR. - Hazardous noise levels: worksite is in an office building. SAFETY. It is not permitted to touch any of the machines and equipment at the KKB and Zwilag facilities. Visitors are not permitted to leave their group during the tour. Instructions from tour leaders must be followed. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the plant. Pets are not allowed.
SAFETY. In the case of an exhibition of weapons, the Exhibitor is obliged to ensure that no unauthorised access or theft of weapons or weapon parts is possible by means of sufficient security measures such as, in par- ticular, locked showcases and theft-proof security by means of steel cables or other suitable fastenings. Outside the exhibition hours, the Exhibitor must either remove the weapons or lock them in a theft-proof manner (e.g. weapons safe) or arrange for separate guarding of his exhibition area at his own expense. Firearms may generally only be exhibited in a non-usable condition (e.g. removal or shortening of the firing pin, sealed barrel, etc.). In addition, the Exhibitor is obliged to strictly comply with all relevant legal provisions concerning the safekeeping of weapons. Sold weapons may not be handed over directly to the buyer. Live ammunition, prohibited weapons or war material may not be exhibited, sold or passed on. Any shooting ranges require the prior written permission of the Organiser and the responsible authorities. Any target representations must relate to hunting (e.g. ring targets, animal targets) and must not depict humans or human-like beings. In the event of non-compliance with these regulations, the Organiser is entitled, at the Exhibitor’s expense, to take safety measures or to close the exhibition stand. The Exhibitor shall indemnify and hold the Organiser harmless from and against any claims by third parties arising from any violation of the safety regulations laid down herein or any statutory provisions.
SAFETY a) Fire Open fires (wood, charcoal, etc.) are strictly forbidden. Stoves must be kept in good condition and must not be used in dangerous conditions. In event of a fire, inform the campsite management immediately. Fire extinguishers are available if necessary. A first aid box is situated in Reception.
SAFETY. All traffic routes and exits leading to the street are to be kept free of misalignments and storage of any kind during an event. Objects that are or may be dangerous or increase the risk may not be brought into or deposited in the venue or the area around the venue. Visitors and participants are obliged to report personal perceptions of danger to an authorized person. The organizer (lessee) is not obligated to take security police measures. This applies in particular if such measures are not taken by the security police authorities - based on their own assessment of the danger situation and despite notification of possible dangers by the organizer or despite a request by the organizer. The information, instruction and prohibition signs in the building and other announcements are to be followed exactly and immediately. Likewise, especially in the event of fire or danger, instructions from authorized persons as well as from supervisory bodies of the Municipality, police (and other authorities), fire department and ambulance must be complied with immediately. Authorized persons are identified as such (for example, the logo of the music association on their uniforms, or badges or armbands). They are authorized to check visitors' compliance with the house rules, to request identification and to issue instructions necessary for their enforcement. Furthermore, they are entitled to exercise domiciliary rights in the event of non-compliance with the house rules and in the event of non-compliance with their instructions by visitors and/or to call upon the support of the official supervisory bodies. In the event of violations of instructions by authorized persons, the person in question is to be expelled from the venue and, in the event of repeated violations of the house rules, a general ban from the premises is to be issued. There will be no replacement of purchased tickets or subscriptions. Failure to comply with an official expulsion is punishable under § 43 Vienna Event Act 2020. If the tenant (organizer) issues its own house rules, these shall in any case comply with these house rules of the organizer and shall be agreed with the organizer before they are published or submitted to the authorities for approval. SAFETY. 10.1 Before the arrival of the guests the customer/client shall be informed about relevant security measures on board during a safety meeting. The relevant emergency exits and escape routes for the customer or the event will be shown during this meeting. The captain will be in charge of the meeting and a representative of the customer/client shall participate on their behalf.
