Common use of Termination of the Agreement Clause in Contracts

Termination of the Agreement. 1. Once the Agreement has ended, the Customer will return the Spaces and inventory in a defect-free and usable condition. The Customer will remove all items brought into the Spaces by the Customer and restore the Spaces to the condition they were in when they were handed over. Design Offices will remedy visible signs of use and damage to floors, floor coverings, walls or inventory at the Customer‘s expense plus a reasonable handling charge of 15 per cent of the actual remedial costs; the handling charge will be omitted or be less if the Customer can pro- ve that the actual costs were lower. The Customer will pay such costs within ten days after Design Offices has sent the invoice. 2. Design Offices may put any items left behind into storage at the Cus- tomer‘s expense if they are not removed within 24 hours after the end of the Event. After 14 days, Design Offices may realise or dispose of the items at the Customer‘s expense.
