Abandonment of Position definition

Abandonment of Position means the desertion by a Classified employee of his position.
Abandonment of Position means the Employer may declare the employee to have terminated his employment, if he has not, directly or indirectly, contacted his Employer and he is absent without leave from work for a period of five (5) working days;
Abandonment of Position means failure of an employee to report to work for a period of five consecutive working days without authorization from the employee’s supervisor or manager and without good cause.
