Approved Maintenance Performer definition

Approved Maintenance Performer means any maintenance facility approved by the Aviation Authority and/or otherwise approved in writing by Lessor (such approval not to be unreasonably withheld or delayed).
Approved Maintenance Performer means (a) for all Heavy Maintenance Checks, any shop visit for an Engine, the APU or any Landing Gear or the overhaul of any serialized components and all major modifications, any maintenance facility approved by (i) the Aviation Authority and (ii) either EASA or the FAA and (b) for all lower-level checks, repairs and maintenance, any maintenance facility approved by the Aviation Authority which may be Lessee so long as Lessee has the requisite licenses and approvals;
Approved Maintenance Performer means any maintenance performer chosen by Lessee and approved by Lessor, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, and holding all necessary approvals of the Aeronautics Authority for the maintenance tasks to be performed in respect of the Airframe, Engines, APU or Landing Gear and for the same type airframe, engine, auxiliary power unit and landing gear, as the case may be, as the Airframe, Engines, APU and Landing Gear.

More Definitions of Approved Maintenance Performer

Approved Maintenance Performer means any person (including Lessee) qualifying as a FAR Part-145 and/or an EASA Part-145 Approved Maintenance Organization for the type of maintenance required on the Aircraft, the Engines, the APU and/or any Parts (as applicable); provided that each Approved Maintenance Performer must be approved in advance in writing by Lessor to perform any heavy maintenance (including C Checks, Airframe Checks, Engine Performance Restoration Shop Visits, APU Performance Restorations, Landing Gear Overhauls and thrust reverser overhauls), which consent will not be unreasonably withheld or delayed. APU means (a) the auxiliary power unit specified in Lease Supplement No. 1 including all Parts installed in or on such auxiliary power unit at Delivery (other than any Parts to which title has subsequently passed to Lessee in accordance with the terms of this Agreement), (b) any Replacement APU to which title has passed to Owner and is leased to Lessee hereunder in accordance with the requirements of this Agreement and all Parts installed in or on such auxiliary power unit at the time of transfer of title to Owner (other than any Parts to which title has subsequently passed to Lessee in accordance with the terms of this Agreement) and (c) all new, substituted and/or Replacement Parts at any time installed in or on any such auxiliary power unit to which title has passed, or is required to pass, to Owner in accordance with this Agreement; including, in each case, any such auxiliary power unit which, having been removed from the Aircraft, remains the property of Owner. APU Cycle means each cycle elapsing from the moment at which the APU commences operating until the APU is shut down, whether for aircraft operations or testing. APU Hour means each hour or part thereof elapsing from the moment at which the APU commences operating until the time the APU is shut down, whether for aircraft operations or testing. APU Performance Restoration means the off-wing APU shop visits including full power section and load compressor disassembly, inspection, component repair and balancing, testing and reassembly of the relevant APU, accomplished in accordance with the APU manufacturer’s component maintenance manual, with a minimum of zero-time inspections on the rotating hardware and continued-time inspections on the static hardware.
Approved Maintenance Performer means Lessee or any other maintenance performer having a valid repair station license and otherwise approved by the Aviation Authority in the operation specifications with regard to major maintenance, including airframe, engine, landing gear and APU overhaul, and otherwise approved by the Aviation Authority.

Approved Maintenance Performer means the Lessee insofar as maintenance other than Major Checks, the check scheduled to clear maintenance items for the next 6,000 Flight Hours, 4,500 Cycles and 20 months, and Engine Performance Restoration are concerned, and for such maintenance means any other Person (including Aeromantenimiento) that meets the requirements of being a Maintenance Performer, provided that it shall retain its EASA / JAA approval including for those which (1) Maintenance Reserves are provided and (2) for end of lease airframe C check maintenance work-scope package; APU means the auxiliary power unit installed on the Aircraft on the Delivery Date and any replacement auxiliary power unit installed in accordance with this Agreement title to which is transferred to Lessor in accordance with this Agreement;

Goodrich (formerly known as Tramco), of Everett, Washington.
