Authorised Card User definition

Authorised Card User means, in respect of a Commercial Card, each individual authorised by you to be issued with that Commercial Card; "Bank" means Hang Seng Bank Limited and its successors and assigns;

Authorised Card User means any person nominated by the Cardmember to use the Card and the Services; “Contactless Transactions” means any purchase of goods and/or services effected through contactless payment application (the availability of which is subject to such terms and conditions as Hang Seng and the relevant Card Association may from time to time determine) whether or not the same is authorised by the Cardmember or Authorised Card User (unless Clause 14(b)applies); “CSH” means the “Hang Seng Credit Card 24-hour Customer Service Hotline”; “CSH Services” means the credit card and other account related services from time to time offered by Hang Seng on a 24-hour basis under CSH in accordance with Clause 17; “Card” means any Hang Seng Platinum Commercial Mastercard, Hang Seng Commercial World Mastercard, Hang Seng Visa Platinum Commercial Card, Hang Seng Visa Platinum Business Card or Hang Seng UnionPay RMB Diamond Commercial Card from time to time issued by Hang Seng to the Cardmember for use by an Authorised Card User; or such specialised card as Hang Seng Platinum Commercial Mastercard, Hang Seng Commercial World Mastercard, Hang Seng Visa Platinum Commercial Card, Hang Seng Visa Platinum Business Card or Hang Seng UnionPay RMB Diamond Commercial Card from time to time issued by Hang Seng to the Cardmember for use by an Authorised Card User which carries the identity of an Affinity Group or any design as agreed between Hang Seng and the Affinity Group and is marketed to persons including, without limitation, all or any selected members or customers of such Affinity Group pursuant to the affinity card programme agreement or arrangement between such Affinity Group and Hang Seng; “Card Association” means, in respect of a Card, the card scheme operator of that Card and its successors and assigns; “Card Transaction” means, in respect of each Authorised Card User, any purchase of goods and/or services, or any cash advance (if applicable) effected by the use of his Card or any transaction effected pursuant to the provision of the Services whether or not the same is authorised by the Cardmember or such Authorised Card User (unless Clause 14(b) applies) and, where the context permits, includes Contactless Transactions, Interest-free Instalment Plan transactions and Selected Merchant Interest-free Instalment Plan transactions; “Cardmember” means any company, sole proprietorship, partnership, body or authority established under an ordinance enacted by the legislature of the Hong Ko...

Examples of Authorised Card User in a sentence

  • Hang Seng and/or the Designated Merchants (to be defined in Clause 9 below) will from time to time inform the Cardmembers (or the Authorised Card User, if applicable) in their relevant marketing materials about the rate(s) at which Cash Dollars are generated.

  • In the case of Commercial Cards, you shall procure each Authorised Card User to comply with and perform his obligations under these Terms and Conditions.

  • The provisions of this Addendum shall apply to that other device and you or (in the case of a Commercial Card) you and your Authorised Card User are responsible for any Mobile Payment Transaction effected with that other device.

  • The Cardmember and each Authorised Card User are advised to seek independent legal and tax advice.

  • The Authorised User of the B2B Card is the only person authorised to use the B2B Card bearing their name and the related Account and Authorised Card User Codes.

  • Any amount of a transaction not settled with Cash Dollars must be paid by the Cardmember (or the Authorised Card User, if applicable) with his/her Card.

  • Spending by a Cardmember (or an Authorised Card User, if applicable) for goods and services through each Credit Card Account (“Credit Card Account”) and/or e-shopping Card Account (as defined in the Credit Card Cardmember Agreement and the Affinity Card Cardmember Agreement) will generate +FUN Dollars under the Membership Rewards Programme.

  • Hang Seng’s computer records with respect to the Cardmember (and the Authorised Card User, if applicable) on Cash Dollars accumulated and redeemed from time to time are conclusive and binding against the Cardmember (and the Authorised Card User, if applicable) unless and until the contrary is established.

  • On request and exclusively so that We can operate the respective Programme(s), You must provide Us with all the information we may rea- sonably request from time to time concerning an Authorised Card User, including but not limited to, their address.

  • Hang Seng may at any time with notice to the Cardmembers (and the Authorised Card User, if applicable) (a) enhance, replace and/or revise the types of benefits and privileges available under the Membership Rewards Programme and/or the Services; (b) revise or add to these Terms and Conditions and (c) suspend or terminate the Membership Rewards Programme and/or the Services.
