Bus AideAn employee with a regular daily assignment as an Aide; also included as a “School Bus Driver”.
Bus AideAn employee who has completed the LCS Special Education Bus Aide Program. Reserve Driver: An employee who is qualified to drive a school bus if appropriately credentialed but does not have a regular daily assigned report time or assigned route; is not represented by the bargaining unit.

  • During the selection process, each Bus Aide will be paid a minimum of two (2) hours.

  • If no regular Bus Aide is available to work the A.M., Mid-day, or P.M. routes(s) of the absent Bus Aide, the route(s) of the absent Bus Aide shall be given to a substitute.
