Cash Balance Participant definition

Cash Balance Participant means a Participant who has a Cash Balance benefit from the Retirement Plan that is governed by the terms of the Cash Balance Plan Document.
Cash Balance Participant means a Participant who is a Cash Balance Member in the Qualified Plan.
Cash Balance Participant means an employee who is on the active roll of a Participating Company as an Officer on or after January 1, 1998. Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, an individual who is promoted to an Officer position after December 31, 2008 shall not be eligible to earn benefits as a “Cash Balance Participant.”

Examples of Cash Balance Participant in a sentence

  • The Opening Balance of any other Cash Balance Participant is zero.

  • For each Plan Year beginning on or after January 1, 2002, a Service Credit shall be credited to the Cash Balance Account of any Cash Balance Participant who is an Active Participant at any time during such Plan Year.

  • The Opening Balance of a Cash Balance Participant who was an Active Participant in the Plan on January 1, 2002 and was an active Employee on April 1, 2002 is the Actuarially Equivalent present value of his Frozen Accrued Benefit determined as of January 1, 2002.

  • For a Cash Balance Participant, his Frozen Accrued Benefit or his Cash Balance Account as of that date; provided, however, that if the Participant has not attained Normal Retirement Date, the value of his Cash Balance Account shall be determined assuming Interest Credits continue to accrue on such account until his Normal Retirement Date at the rate in effect under Section 5.7.

  • Effective September 30, 2016, the Accounts of each Cash Balance Participant who first became a member of the System on or after January 1, 1996, and has less than ten (10) years of cash balance service as of October 1, 2016, shall not be credited with any additional pay-based credits on or after October 1, 2016.

Cash Balance Participant means an Executive for whom a Retirement Account is maintained under the Pension Plan.
