Pediatric Asthma Pilot Program. This pilot program will utilize an integrated delivery system for preventive and treatment services through methodologies that may include a payment such as a per member/per month (PMPM) payment to participating providers for asthma-related services, equipment and supports for management of pediatric asthma for high-risk patients, to improve health outcomes, reduce asthma- related emergency department utilization and asthma-related hospitalizations, and to reduce associated Medicaid costs. These methodologies are subject to CMS approval of the pilot program protocol. The CMS approved protocol is Attachment F to these STCs.
