Cluster Study definition

Cluster Study means a process for studying a group of TSRs in the aggregate. A Cluster Study process may be used to complete a System Impact Study, System Facilities Study, NEPA analysis or other study or analysis necessary to determine system modifications required to provide Transmission Service.
Cluster Study. Process shall mean the interconnection study process set forth in GIP Section 4. Commercial Operation shall mean the status of a Generating Facility that has commenced generating electricity for sale or has commenced storing electrical energy for later resale, excluding electrical energy generated or stored during Trial Operation. Commercial Operation Date of an Electric Generating Unit shall mean the date on which an Electric Generating Unit at a Generating Facility commences Commercial Operation as agreed to by the Parties pursuant to Appendix E to the GIA. Confidential Information shall mean any confidential, proprietary or trade secret information of a plan, specification, pattern, procedure, design, device, list, concept, policy or compilation relating to the present or planned business of a Party, which is designated as confidential by the Party supplying the information, whether conveyed orally, electronically, in writing, through inspection, or otherwise. Construction Activities shall mean actions by the Distribution Provider that result in irrevocable financial commitments for the purchase of major electrical equipment or land for Distribution Provider’s Interconnection Facilities, Distribution Upgrades, or Network Upgrades assigned to the Interconnection Customer that occur after receipt of the appropriate governmental approvals needed for the Distribution Provider’s Interconnection Facilities, Distribution Upgrades, or Network Upgrades. Contract Demand shall mean the quantity of Charging Capacity of a Generating Facility that includes storage as set forth in the Service Agreement for Wholesale Distribution Service. Control Area shall mean an electrical system or systems bounded by interconnection metering and telemetry, capable of controlling generation to maintain its interchange schedule with other Control Areas and contributing to frequency regulation of the interconnection. A Control Area must be certified by the Applicable Reliability Council. Customer-Financed Monthly Rate for Non-ISO-Controlled Facilities shall have the meaning assigned to it in Attachment J of the Tariff. The currently effective Customer-Financed Monthly Rate for Non-ISO-Controlled Facilities is as provided in Attachment J of the Tariff. Cluster Study in context means either the process set forth in these Cluster Study Guidelines or the specific study of the Active Cluster Study Projects.

  • Clinical Trial means a Phase I Clinical Trial, Phase II Clinical Trial or Phase III Clinical Trial, or any post-approval human clinical trial, as applicable.
