County Data definition

County Data means data and information received by Contractor from County. County Data includes any information or data that is transported across a County network, or that resides in a County-owned information system, or on a network or system under the control and management of a contractor for use by County. As between Contractor and County, all County Data shall remain the property of County.
County Data means information or data provided by County to Contractor in the performance of this Contract, including, but not limited to any personally identifiable information such as names, e-mail addresses, passwords, phone numbers, and home or business addresses. County Data includes Confidential Information as defined in this Contract.
County Data means information or data collected, used, processed, stored, or generated in any format, by or on behalf of the County, in connection with the Deliverables, which shall include, but not be limited to: (a) personal health information (PHI) as defined under the Health Insurance Portability Act (HIPPA) and Exhibit II, (b) personally identifiable information (PII) as defined in Exhibit III, and (c) Criminal Justice Information defined in Exhibit IV if the Exhibit(s) are incorporated into the Contract. County Data includes Confidential Information as defined in this Contract.

More Definitions of County Data

County Data means the data and information (including text, pictures, sound, graphics, video and other data) relating to County or its employees or agents, or made available or provided by County or its agents to Contractor, for or in the performance of this Agreement, including all derivative data and results derived therefrom, whether or not derived through the use of the Contractor’s services, whether or not electronically retained, and regardless of the retention media.

Should confidential and/or legally protected County Data be divulged to unauthorized third parties, Contractor shall comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including but not limited to California Civil Code Sections 1798.29 and 1798.82 at Contractor’s sole expense (if applicable). Contractor shall not charge the County for any expenses associated with Contractor’s compliance with the obligations set forth in this section.
