Data Privacy Breach definition

Data Privacy Breach means the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, access to, acquisition of Seagate Personal Information, or any other unauthorized Processing of Seagate Personal Information.
Data Privacy Breach means a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, Personal Data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed.
Data Privacy Breach means any unauthorized disclosure, acquisition, access, destruction, or alteration of, or any similar action involving Personal Information, or any other incident where the confidentiality of Personal Information may have been compromised.

  • Supplier shall immediately contain and remedy any Data Privacy Breach and prevent any further Data Privacy Breach; and Supplier shall take all actions necessary to comply with applicable Data Protection Laws and industry standards to contain and remedy the Data Privacy Breach.

  • Supplier shall not issue any communications related to a Data Privacy Breach, in any manner that would identify, or is reasonably likely to identify or reveal the identity of, Seagate, without Seagate’s prior approval.

Data Privacy Breach means any breach of security that leads to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, access to, acquisition of Company Personal Information, or any other unauthorized Processing of Company Personal Information, including: (a) the unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal of Company Personal Information; or (b) the loss of any storage medium or device on which Company Personal Information is stored in circumstances where the unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal of the Company Personal Information is likely to occur.

Related to Data Privacy Breach

  • Privacy Breach means a common law breach of confidence, infringement, or violation of any rights to privacy, including but not limited to breach of “Your” privacy statement, breach of a person’s right of publicity, wrongful collection, false light, intrusion upon a person’s seclusion, public disclosure of “Private Information”, or misappropriation of a person’s picture or name for commercial gain.

  • Data Privacy Laws means any state or national law or regulation protecting the privacy, confidentiality, or security of Personal Information.

  • Data Breach means the unauthorized access by an unauthorized person that results in the use, disclosure or theft of Customer Data.

  • Data Breaches Party shall report to AHS, though its Chief Information Officer (CIO), any impermissible use or disclosure that compromises the security, confidentiality or privacy of any form of protected personal information identified above within 24 hours of the discovery of the breach. Party shall in addition comply with any other data breach notification requirements required under federal or state law.

  • Personal Data Breach means a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored, or otherwise processed.

  • Confidential Information Breach This shall mean, generally, an instance where an unauthorized person or entity accesses Confidential Information in any manner, including but not limited to the following occurrences: (1) any Confidential Information that is not encrypted or protected is misplaced, lost, stolen or in any way compromised; (2)one or more third parties have had access to or taken control or possession of any Confidential Information that is not encrypted or protected without prior written authorization from the State; (3) the unauthorized acquisition of encrypted or protected Confidential Information together with the confidential process or key that is capable of compromising the integrity of the Confidential Information; or (4) if there is a substantial risk of identity theft or fraud to the Client Agency, the Contractor, DAS or State.

  • Company Privacy Policy means each external or internal, past or present privacy policy of the Company, including any policy relating to (i) the privacy of users of the Company Products or of any Company Website, (ii) the collection, storage, disclosure, and transfer of any User Data or Personal Data, and (iii) any employee information.

  • Personal Information Breach means an instance where an unauthorized person or entity accesses Personal Information in any manner, including but not limited to the following occurrences: (1) any Personal Information that is not encrypted or protected is misplaced, lost, stolen or in any way compromised; (2) one or more third parties have had access to or taken control or possession of any Personal Information that is not encrypted or protected without prior written authorization from the State; (3) the unauthorized acquisition of encrypted or protected Personal Information together with the confidential process or key that is capable of compromising the integrity of the Personal Information; or (4) if there is a substantial risk of identity theft or fraud to the client, the Contractor, the Department or State.

  • Data Security Breach means a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to, Personal Data transmitted, stored, or otherwise processed.

  • Serious Breach means any breach defined as a Serious Breach in the Agreement or any breach or breaches which adversely, materially or substantially affect the performance or delivery of the Services or compliance with the terms and conditions of the Agreement or the provision of a safe, healthy and supportive learning environment or a breach of security that adversely affects the Personal Data or privacy of an individual. Failure to comply with Law, or actions or omissions by the Provider that endanger the Health or Safety of Learners, Provider Personnel, and all other persons including members of the public would constitute a Serious Breach;

  • Privacy Shield means the European Union (EU) -U.S. and Switzerland – U.S. Privacy Shield frameworks.

  • Company Privacy Policies means all current and, to the extent applicable, prior public or internal policies, procedures and representations of the Company or its Subsidiaries to the extent relating to data security or the Processing of Personally Identifiable Information, including the Data Protection Program.

  • Customer Confidential Information means Confidential Information of the Customer provided to Computershare.

  • Privacy Policy means the terms which set out how we will deal with confidential and personal information received from you via the Website;

  • Non-Breaching Party has the meaning set forth in Section 9.3.

  • Privacy Statement means any and all of the Company's privacy policies published on its web site or otherwise provided to users of the Company's products and services or the Company's data subjects regarding the collection, use and distribution of personal information from visitors to its web site, consumers of its products and services and/or the Company's data subjects, as applicable;

  • Seller Confidential Information has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4.3.

  • Terminating Company Breach has the meaning specified in Section 10.01(b).

  • Buyer Confidential Information has the meaning set forth in Section 6.8(a).

  • Willful and Material Breach means a material breach that is a consequence of an act undertaken by the breaching party or the failure by the breaching party to take an act it is required to take under this Agreement, with knowledge that the taking of or failure to take such act would, or would reasonably be expected to, result in, constitute or cause a breach of this Agreement.

  • Mass Privacy Act is defined in Section 9.2 hereof.

  • Data Providers means pricing vendors, analytics providers, brokers, dealers, investment managers, Authorized Persons, Subcustodians, Depositories and any other Person providing Market Data to the Custodian.
