Design-Build Documents definition

Design-Build Documents means the plans, specifications, designs, models, electronic models and other documents and materials relating to the design and construction of the Site and New Facilities as may be set out or contemplated in the Design-Build Services Appendix or agreed to by the Parties

Design-Build Documents means drawings, specifications and other documents appropriate to the size and complexity of the Project which describe the size and character of the Project (including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, materials and other elements) and which set forth in detail the requirements for the construction, enlargement or alteration of the building comprising the Project.

Examples of Design-Build Documents in a sentence

  • If the Owner prefers to accept Work that is not in accordance with the requirements of the Design-Build Documents, the Owner may do so instead of requiring its removal and correction, in which case the Contract Sum will be reduced as appropriate and equitable.

  • Submittals are not Design-Build Documents unless incorporated into a Modification.

  • The Design-Builder shall maintain at the site for the Owner one copy of the Design-Build Documents and a current set of the Construction Documents, in good order and marked currently to indicate field changes and selections made during construction, and one copy of approved Submittals.

  • Nothing contained in this Section 14.1.7 shall be deemed to preclude an award of liquidated damages, when applicable, in accordance with the requirements of the Design-Build Documents.

  • The Architect is referred to throughout the Design-Build Documents as if singular in number.

  • If such Work is in accordance with the Design-Build Documents, the Owner and Design-Builder shall execute a Change Order to adjust the Contract Time and Contract Sum, as appropriate.
