Disability Period definition

Disability Period shall have the meaning ascribed to that term in Section 6(a).
Disability Period has the meaning set forth in the definition of "Permanent Disability."
Disability Period means 180 consecutive days or 180 days during any twelve (12) month period; or such lesser number of days as elapse until disability insurance benefits commence under any disability insurance coverage furnished by Employer to Executive, if any.

Examples of Disability Period in a sentence

  • During any period that Executive fails to perform his duties hereunder as a result of incapacity due to physical or mental illness ("Disability Period"), Executive shall continue to receive his full Base Salary set forth in Section 5(a) until his employment is terminated pursuant to Section 6(b).

  • If during the Disability Period you shall fully recover from your disability, the Company shall have the right (exercisable within 60 days after notice from you of such recovery), but not the obligation, to restore you to full-time service at full compensation.

  • If the Company elects to restore you to full-time service, then this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect in all respects and the Term Date shall not be extended by virtue of the occurrence of the Disability Period.

  • Disability Period - The period in which an employee cannot continuously perform the essential duties of any position available in accordance with the priority placement criteria of the Rehabilitation and Re-Employment Procedure.

  • If the Company elects not to restore you to full-time service, you shall be entitled to obtain other employment, subject, however, to the following: (i) you shall perform advisory services during any balance of the Disability Period; and (ii) you shall comply with the provisions of Sections 9 and 10 during the Disability Period.


More Definitions of Disability Period

Disability Period means the period beginning on the date the Chief Executive Officer of the Employer determines that the Executive is subject to a condition that constitutes a Disability and ending on either the date that is three (3) months after such determination or the date the Executive begins receiving income replacement benefits under any accident or health plan maintained by the Employer, whichever occurs first.
Disability Period means a leave of absence for Disability for a period of not more than six (6) months commencing on the first day of a Disability occurring during the Employment Period.
Disability Period shall have the meaning stated in Section 7.2 hereof.
Disability Period means the period commencing on the first day upon which such Disability occurs and ending on the first to occur of the following: (i) the expiration of the Term; (ii) if the Disability is continuous through the sixty (60) consecutive days following the day on which the Disability occurs, then the last day of such sixty (60) consecutive days; and (iii) if the Disability is intermittent and shall exist throughout the Term following the day on which the Disability occurs, then the cumulative sixtieth (60th) day of such Disability Period.

Disability Period means the period that commences with the date as of which the Participant becomes a Disabled Participant and ceases with the earliest of the following dates: (i) the date as of which the Participant would cease to receive disability benefits under an Employer’s long-term disability program, if such Participant were covered by such program; (ii) the date as of which the Participant ceases to have a disability within the meaning of an Employer’s long-term disability program or within the meaning of such term as set forth in an employment agreement entered into by and between the Participant and an Employer; (iii) the date as of which the Participant is considered by the SERP Committee to have refused to furnish proof that he or she continues to have a disability within the meaning of an Employer’s long-term disability program; and (iv) the death of the Participant
