Experienced Teacher definition

Experienced Teacher means a teacher who holds a valid and current Continuing or Advanced License, issued pursuant to Chapter 12 of Title 14 of the Delaware Code; or Standard or Professional Status Certificate issued prior to August 1, 2003.
Experienced Teacher means a Teacher who is accredited or registered at Proficient Teacher level under the Teacher Accreditation Act 2004 (NSW) or the ACT Teacher Quality Institute Act 2010 (ACT) and has maintained that level of accreditation for at least five full time equivalent years in NSW and four full time equivalent years in the ACT, and has been assessed by ISTAA as meeting the ISTAA Experienced Teacher standards (as agreed between the Union and the Association of Independent Schools), subject to the provisions of clauses 7.2(a) and 7.2(b). Full-Time Teacher means any Teacher other than a Casual or Part-Time Teacher.
Experienced Teacher means a teacher hired into a permanent position, full or part-time who has completed the New Teacher Induction Program (NTIP).

  • The Advanced Classroom Expertise Teacher (ACET) is a classroom teacher whose practice has been formally recognised as being demonstrably higher than the Experienced Teacher Professional Standards.

  • New Experienced Teacher without a Master’s Degree: New experienced teachers without a Master’s Degree may be compensated according to the average compensation of other teachers with comparable experience and education up to $3,600.

  • A teacher awarded Experienced Teacher 6 status shall be paid an allowance at the rate prescribed in Schedule 1 of this Agreement.

  • A Teacher who, prior to their appointment, was employed in a school covered by a Standards or Hybrid - 3 Band Agreement and was classified or deemed to be an Experienced Teacher (Band 3) in accordance with the provisions of that agreement shall be placed on Band 3.

  • A teacher awarded Experienced Teacher 5 status shall be paid an allowance at the rate prescribed in Schedule 1 of this Agreement.

  • The classification of Experienced Teacher 5 ceases to exist from 1 July 2017, hence the requirement for an action plan also ceases on that date.

  • S2.4.1The task(s) of a teacher classified as Experienced Teacher 5 will not be so frequent or onerous as to detract from the primary role as a classroom teacher.

  • The Parties have reviewed the Ministry’s “Teacher Performance Appraisal – Technical Requirements Manual 2010” and “New Teacher Induction Program – Induction Elements Manual 2019” and have endorsed their use for directing the Teacher Performance Appraisal which shall be conducted as outlined in the “TLDSB/OSSTF District 15 New & Experienced Teacher Performance Appraisal Process” dated June 21, 2016.
