Extended compensation definition

Extended compensation means compensation payable to an individual for weeks of unemployment in an extended benefit period, under those provisions of the state law which satisfy the requirements of the Federal-State Extended Unemployment Compensation Act of 1970 (Pub. L. 91-373), and when so payable includes additional compensation and compensation payable pursuant to 5 U.S.C. chapter 85. Extended compensation is referred to as Extended Benefits or EB.

Related to Extended compensation

  • Extended benefits means benefits, including benefits payable to federal civilian employees and to ex-servicemen under 5 U.S.C. Chapter 85, payable to an individual under the provisions of this section for weeks of unemployment in his eligibility period.
