Federal Requirement definition

Federal Requirement means: (i) An applicable federal law, regulation, or executive order; (ii) An applicable provision of the Underlying Agreement, including any Special Condition, Requirement, Provision, or Condition of Award; (iii) This Master Agreement; (iv) A later Master Agreement after FTA and the Recipient have entered into the Underlying Agreement; or (v) Another applicable federal mandate.
Federal Requirement means a requirement of the federal government contained in a statute, regulation, or guideline for an eligible mitigation bank program or a wetland regulation program.
Federal Requirement has the meaning given such term in Section 11.1(h) of the Agreement.

  • Safety Standards means all laws, union rules and trade or industry custom or codes of any kind whatsoever, in effect from the date of this Agreement through Final Acceptance of the construction work, pertaining to worker safety and accident prevention applicable to the Project and/or the construction work (including, but not limited to, rules, regulations and standards adopted pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, as amended from time to time).

  • Environmental Requirements means all Laws and requirements relating to human, health, safety or protection of the environment or to emissions, discharges, releases or threatened releases of pollutants, contaminants, or Hazardous Materials in the environment (including, without limitation, ambient air, surface water, ground water, land surface or subsurface strata), or otherwise relating to the treatment, storage, disposal, transport or handling of any Hazardous Materials.
