General Chairperson definition

General Chairperson. The General Chairperson represents the members under his/her jurisdiction in matters pertaining to organizing, collective bargaining, wage, hours, conditions of employment and jurisdictional matters and supervises the conduct and activities of members in connection with the provisions of this MOA and any documents governing the Union.
General Chairperson means the Chairperson of the regularly constituted General Committee of Adjustment of the SMART-TD signatory hereto. G. 1 . The primary duties of Transportation Specialists in the Operations Center shall include typical office functions, including but not limited to the following: • Monitoring rail traffic; • Coordinating commuter rail movements with the Dispatcher; • Providing real time information regarding commuter service to passengers through the passenger information system (PIS); • Providing real time information regarding commuter accidents incidents to passengers and appropriate Contractor, SFRTA and other designated staff/contractors; • Coordinating alternate transportation including busing • Transport crews, mail and supplies; • Preparing and distributing Daily Operations Summary Reports; • Maintaining an Event Log; • Maintaining the paging group fists; • Filing immediate reports as listed in Section 4.15.4; • Receiving reports of deficiencies at stations and forwarding to the station maintenance contractor; • Receiving and transmitting information on TVM failures to designated SFRTA staff • Maintaining a list of service status of station elevators and transmitting to designated SFRTA staff • Hosting an Operations Conference call as required to review train service performance and issues affecting SFRTA operations or the SFRC; and • Other duties as may be assigned in connection with the performance of the above.
General Chairperson means the Chairperson of the regularly constituted General Committee of Adjustment of the United Transportation Union.

  • Any such grievances will be filed in writing with the Union’s President and Directing General Chairperson, who will provide a written answer within 14 days.

  • Any notice of revocation of checkoff authorization as provided for in this Article or the Railway Labor Act, as amended, must be in writing, signed by the employee and 2 hard copies delivered by first class mail or other mode of delivery accepted in the ordinary course of business, addressed to the President and Directing General Chairperson of the Union.

  • Dues or Service Fee deductions will be continued until 1 copy of such notice of revocation is received by the appropriate Payroll Representative from the President and Directing General Chairperson of the Union.

  • A check off form must be completed in a legible manner acceptable to the Company or it will be returned to the President and Directing General Chairperson of the Union for correction.

  • If the grievance remains unsettled after being processed through Step 3 above, the System General Chairperson may request the case be heard by the System Board in compliance with Section 204, Title II of the Railway Labor Act as amended.
