Highest Average Compensation definition

Highest Average Compensation means the average Compensation for the three (3) consecutive years of Service with the Employer that produces the highest average. A Year of Service with the Employer is the twelve (12) consecutive month period identical to the Plan Year.
Highest Average Compensation means the average compensation for the three consecutive years of service with the employer that produces the highest average.
Highest Average Compensation means the average of a Member's high three consecutive Plan Years (determined as of the close of the Plan Year) of employment with the Employer or the actual number of years of employment for those Members who are employed for less than three consecutive years with the Employer.

  • A fraction, the numerator of which is the sum of the Participant's Projected Annual Benefits under all the Defined Benefit Plans (whether or not terminated) maintained by the Employer, and the denominator of which is the lesser of 125 percent of the dollar limitation determined for the Limitation Year under Code Sections 415(b) and (d) or 140 percent of the Highest Average Compensation, including any adjustments under Code Section 415(b).

  • In the case of a Participant who has separated from service, the Participant’s Highest Average Compensation will be automatically adjusted by multiplying such compensation by the cost of living adjustment factor prescribed by the Secretary of the Treasury under Code Section 415(d) in such manner as the Secretary shall prescribe.

More Definitions of Highest Average Compensation

Highest Average Compensation means a Participant’s average Top-Heavy Compensation for the five (5) consecutive years during which his aggregate Top-Heavy Compensation was highest, excluding compensation earned by such Participant:
Highest Average Compensation is his or her average Compensation for the three consecutive Years of Service with the Employer that produces the highest average.

A lump-sum payment may not be added to a single month's compensation.
Highest Average Compensation means the Participant's average Compensation for the three consecutive Plan Years of employment with the Employer (without regard to whether such Plan Years were before the Effective Date) that produces the highest average.

A Year of Service with the "employer" is the twelve (12) consecutive month period ending on the last day of the Limitation Year.
