Investment Services Directive definition

Investment Services Directive means the European Council Directive of 10 May 1993 on investment services in the securities field (No. 93/22/EEC);

  • Investment Services means the Investment Services under the Company’s CIF license which can be found in the document “Company Information”.

  • Investment Management Services means any services which involve: (i) the management of an investment account or Fund (or portions thereof or a group of investment accounts or Funds); (ii) the giving of advice with respect to the investment and/or reinvestment of assets or funds (or any group of assets or funds); or (iii) otherwise acting as an “investment adviser” within the meaning of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, as amended, including, without limitation, in each of the foregoing cases, performing activities related or incidental thereto.

  • Portfolio Management Services means management of the investment and reinvestment of the assets belonging to the Series, consisting specifically of the following:

  • Supported employment services means provision of job training and supervision available to assist an individual who needs intensive ongoing support to choose, get, and keep a job in a community business setting. Supported employment is a service planned in partnership with public vocational assistance agencies and school districts and through Social Security Work Incentives when available.

  • payment service provider means a person whose business includes the provision of transfer of funds services;

  • payment service means any business activity set out in Annex I;

  • Settlement Service as defined in Subsection 11.6(b).
