Iowa SAP definition

Iowa SAP means the statutory accounting principles and practices prescribed or permitted by the Iowa Insurance Division.
Iowa SAP means the statutory accounting principles and practices prescribed or permitted for Iowa life insurance companies by the Iowa Insurance Division, consistently applied by the Ceding Company; provided, that, for the avoidance of doubt, Iowa SAP as applied by the Ceding Company shall include the methodology for calculating indexed annuity product reserves set forth in Iowa Administrative Code Chapter 191-97 to the extent applicable.

  • The Ceding Company shall prepare its financial statements as required by, and in accordance with, Iowa SAP.
