Labour Law definition

Labour Law means any Act dealing with labour matters;

  • Compensated hours shall be defined for the purposes of this article, as hours paid, paid holidays, negotiated vacation, time off or any other days or hours for which the employee is paid, but shall exclude leave of absence, time spent on sickness or accident or Workplace Safety and Insurance Board benefits, which are not opposed by Canadian Labour Law.

  • Make arrangements for a preliminary medical examination, as well as routine medical examinations in accordance with the Instructions for Workers’ Medical Examinations, issued pursuant to the Labour Law of Jordan, as well as the official form issued by the Ministry of Labour for the purpose of these examinations.

Labour Law means all Applicable Laws relating to employment and work conditions of labour including The Workmen’s Compensation Act, 1923, The Employees Provident Fund Act, 1952, The Employees State Insurance Act, 1948, The Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act 1970, and The Factories Act, 1948, The Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979, The Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, The Minimum Wages Act, 1948, The Equal Remuneration Act, 1976, The Payment of Wages Act, 1936, , Apprentices Act 1961, Payment of Bonus Act 1965, Payment of Gratuity Act 1972 & Maternity Benefit Act 1961, Building & Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment & Conditions of Service ) Act,1996 and Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Cess Act,1996 and all applicable acts, rules, regulations, notifications, or orders there under.
Labour Law means the Labour Law for the Private Sector being Federal Law No. 8 of 1980 as amended.
