Leased Fibers definition

Leased Fibers refers solely to the optical fibers themselves, and does not include any associated Equipment that may be necessary or desirable to enable LESSEE or any other person or entity to use such Leased Fibers for the purpose of transmitting or receiving telecommunications signals.
Leased Fibers means the Non-Governmental Portion of the Project, to the extent leased to the Development Corporation pursuant to the Development Corporation Lease, all as further described in Exhibit A to the Development Corporation Lease, including additions, improvements, modifications, substitutions and renewals thereof, and further includes other facilities as permitted by the Lease.
Leased Fibers means those specific Dark Fibers in the WINWCAN Cable in which Lessee has been granted a Lease pursuant to the terms of Article II.

Examples of Leased Fibers in a sentence

  • At any point after Acceptance by Lessee of Leased Fiber, Lessee may request that Authority take additional actions to improve the quality or performance of the Leased Fibers.

  • Upon sixty (60) days’ notice, a Party may elect to terminate this Agreement for convenience for all (or a portion of) Leased Fibers.

  • Lessee, at its sole cost and expense, may re-test the Leased Fibers at any time during the term of this Agreement from and to its own equipment.

However, no Acceptance or deemed Acceptance will constitute a waiver by Lessee of Authority’s obligations of maintenance and repair of the Leased Fibers in accordance with the Network Specifications and the SLA(s).

  • If it is reasonably determined that the Leased Fibers do not comply with the design package, Authority will correct the deficiencies at its expense, unless the deficiencies are caused by the act or omission of Lessee or by Lessee’s Facilities, in which event Lessee will reimburse Authority for all costs, plus a 30% mark-up to correct the deficiencies.After correcting the deficiencies, Authority shall re-test the Fibers according to Section 4 Acceptance and Acceptance Testing of this Exhibit.

  • In the event of a fiber cut any splicing of the Fibers by Authority, or Authority’s contractors will be done in a systematic manner with Leased Fibers having equal priority with other third-party fibers within the cable.

  • City is not transferring or granting to Lessee any other interest or estate in the Leased Fibers, the FOI, or any other property interest, including any fee, easement, or any franchise rights, and nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as granting or creating any such rights.

  • Service Provider shall provide the District with a description of the final Leased Fibers prior to the commencement of any construction under this Agreement.


More Definitions of Leased Fibers

Leased Fibers means the specific fiber optic filament strands leased to Operator [***] as provided in a Network Order.
Leased Fibers means the * Fibers together with any additional fibers that * may lease from NFN pursuant to this Agreement. With regard to any * Extension, Leased Fibers shall terminate at the point along such Extension at which * connects fibers or other facilities of its own. "* Extension" shall mean a fiber optic cable leased from NFN connecting the * Fibers and a * Location. "* Fibers" shall mean the fibers leased by * from NFN pursuant to this Agreement, as described in Exhibit A hereto and more fully defined in Subarticle 2.1 herein.
Leased Fibers means 20 of the fibers in the Primary Fiber System, the 8 fibers in the Shreveport Spur and the Regeneration Station.
Leased Fibers means the NEXTLINK Fibers together with any additional fibers that NEXTLINK may lease from NFN pursuant to this Agreement. With regard to any NEXTLINK Extension, Leased Fibers shall terminate at the point along such Extension at which NEXTLINK connects fibers or other facilities of its own.
Leased Fibers means 12 fiber optic strands within the City Network on the route(s) identified in Exhibits A and B, attached hereto, which are leased by Sonic from City under this Lease Agreement.

Related to Leased Fibers

  • Customer Premises Equipment or "CPE" means equipment employed on the premises of a Person other than a Carrier to originate, route or terminate Telecommunications (e.g., a telephone, PBX, modem pool, etc.).

  • Leased space means individual storage space at a self-service storage facility which is rented to an occupant pursuant to a rental agreement.

  • Refinery means a facility used to produce motor fuel from crude oil, unfinished oils, natural gas liquids, or other hydrocarbons and from which motor fuel may be removed by pipeline, by marine vessel, or at a rack.

  • mining areas means the areas delineated and coloured red on the Plan marked “A” initialled by or on behalf of the parties hereto for the purposes of identification;

  • Terminal means a device authorized by a Party Lottery to function in an on-line, interactive mode with the lottery's computer gaming system for the purpose of issuing lottery tickets and entering, receiving, and processing lottery transactions, including purchases, validating tickets, and transmitting reports.

  • CONE Area means the areas listed in Tariff, Attachment DD, section 5.10(a)(iv)(A) and any LDAs established as CONE Areas pursuant to Tariff, Attachment DD, section 5.10(a)(iv)(B).

  • Slum area means any area where dwellings predominate which, by reason of depreciation, overcrowding, faulty arrangement or design, lack of ventilation, light or sanitary facilities, or any combination of these factors, are detrimental to the public safety, health or morals.
