License and Permits. Each party shall obtain and maintain on an active and current basis, all licenses, permits, registrations, approvals and other authority as may be required from any applicable federal, state, tribal and local governments and agencies having jurisdiction over the subject matter of this Lease and any Lease Schedule.

The Contractor shall be an individual or firm currently licensed to do business in California and shall obtain at his/her expense all license(s) and permit(s) required by law for accomplishing any work required in connection with this contract. In the event the Contractor fails to keep in effect at all times all required license(s) and permit(s), the State may, in addition to any other remedies it may have, terminate this contract upon occurrence of such event.
B. If you are a Contractor located within the State of California, a business license from the city/county in which you are headquartered is necessary however, if you are a corporation, a copy of your incorporation documents/letter from the Secretary of State’s Office can be submitted. If you are a Contractor outside the State of California, you will need to submit to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection Contracts Unit a copy of your business license or incorporation papers for your respective State showing that your company is in good standing in that State.
License and Permits. Contractor shall obtain and possess throughout the term of this Agreement all licenses and permits required for its operations under Federal, Florida, and local laws and shall comply with all fire, health, and other applicable regulatory codes.

Section 3.12 of the Seller Disclosure Schedule correctly describes each license, franchise, permit or other similar authorization affecting, or relating in any way to, the Business, together with the name of the Governmental Entity issuing such license or permit (the “Permits”). Except as set forth on Section 3.12 of the Seller Disclosure Schedule, such Permits are valid and in full force and effect and are transferable by Seller, and none of the Permits will be terminated or impaired or become terminable as a result of the transactions contemplated hereby.
