Licensed Applications definition

Licensed Applications means the applications identified in Section 1.2 and any U.S. or foreign patent applications and equivalents thereto that claim priority therefrom and claim Technology, including any continuations, divisions, confirmations, substitutions, registrations, revalidations, additions, extensions, re-examination certificates, supplementary protection certificates and reissues thereof, but excluding continuations-in-part, unless priority to such applications or patents is perfected.

Licensed Applications means the use of the Patent Rights within the field of Benign Prostate Hyperplasia, Prostatitis, and other non-cancerous prostate diseases or conditions of the prostate.

Licensed Applications means: (a) pulse oximetry measurement and/or monitoring, accelerometry-based heart rate and respiratory rate measurement and/or monitoring, and non-invasive trending blood pressure measurement (for clarity, excluding measurement of absolute numerical values) and/or monitoring (the “Restricted Applications”); and (b) accelerometry-based activity (including steps, gait, cadence, symmetry, body position) measurement and/or monitoring, Bluetooth (device-side) wireless streaming tools, skin temperature measurement and/or monitoring, biophone, and iOS and Android mobile applications (the “Unrestricted Applications”).

Examples of Licensed Applications in a sentence

• For purposes of assigning a rating to each of the Licensed Applications, You shall use Your best efforts to provide correct and complete information about the content of that Licensed Application with the software rating tool.

• You shall be solely responsible for any and all product warranties, end-user assistance and product support with respect to each of the Licensed Applications.

• Upon the expiration of the Delivery Period defined and set forth in Schedule 1, all Licensed Applications and Licensed Application Information in Apple’s possession or control shall be deleted or destroyed within a reasonable time thereafter, excluding any archival copies maintained in accordance with Apple’s standard business practices or required to be maintained by applicable law, rule or regulation.

• To the extent that this Agreement provides for usage rules for the Licensed Application that are less restrictive than the Usage Rules set forth for Licensed Applications in, or otherwise are in conflict with, the App Store Terms of Service, then those more restrictive terms in the App Store Terms of Service also apply.

• You acknowledge and agree that Apple may immediately cease distribution of any affected Licensed Applications or Passes, and may refuse to accept any subsequent Application or Pass submissions from You until such matter is resolved to Apple’s reasonable satisfaction.
