Licensed Research Information definition

Licensed Research Information shall have the meaning as set forth in the Amended 2003 Agreement.
Licensed Research Information means information developed, owned or controlled by Columbia and/or Salk up to July 1, 1991, which relates to RNA-based amplification/detection systems which employ exponential amplification of replicative RNA by QB Replicase or a related enzyme, but is not covered by a claim of a Licensed Patent and is not published or part of the public domain.
Licensed Research Information means proprietary information and materials (including any chemical compound or substances, biological cell, or component thereof, whether derived from biological material or synthesized) substantially relating to the invention covered by a Licensed Patent but not covered by a claim of such Licensed Patent that is furnished to Ontogeny and (i) was developed at Columbia under the direction of Xx. Xxxxxxx prior to the effective date of this Agreement; or (ii) arises from, and is developed by Xx. Xxxxxxx in the course of their research activities at Columbia. Licensed Research Information shall be set forth as Appendix A, as amended from time to time by agreement of the parties.

Examples of Licensed Research Information in a sentence

  • Columbia shall obtain from all such entities or individuals an agreement in writing not to use the Licensed Patent, Licensed Research Information or Licensed Materials for commercial purposes and shall inform the Company of the identity of all such entities and individuals in advance of such transfer.

  • Columbia reserves the right to use the Licensed Patent, Licensed Research Information and Licensed Materials for noncommercial research purposes and to permit other entities or individuals to use such Licensed Patent, Licensed Research Information or Licensed Materials for noncommercial research purposes.

  • Columbia and Salk reserve the right to use the Licensed Patents and Licensed Research Information for research purposes and to permit other entities or individuals to use same for research purposes provided such is without the payment of royalties, license fees, stock or other compensation.

  • Columbia and Salk shall obtain from all such entities or individuals an agreement in writing not to use the Licensed Patents or Licensed Research Information for commercial purposes and shall inform GTS of the identity of such entities or individuals.

  • Except as set forth in Section 14 and this section nothing in this agreement shall restrict the right of Columbia or Salk, or the faculty, employees and students of each, to publish, disseminate or otherwise disclose information relating to their research activities, however, when they do so, such no longer qualifies as Licensed Research Information.

  • Columbia shall obtain from all such entities or individuals an agreement in writing not to use the Licensed Patents or Licensed Research Information for commercial purposes and shall inform Ontogeny of the identity of such entities or individuals.

  • Columbia reserves the right to use the Licensed Patents and Licensed Research Information for research purposes and to permit other entities or individuals to use same for research purposes.

Related to Licensed Research Information

  • Research Data means documents in a digital form, other than scientific publications, which are collected or produced in the course of scientific research activities and are used as evidence in the research process, or are commonly accepted in the research community as necessary to validate research findings and results;

  • Licensed Information means any information concerning the Licensed Program, which is owned by the Licensor and is licensed to the Licensee together with the Licensed Program. Licensed Information includes such information as input form, user manual, interface format and input/output format and is delivered to and used by the Licensee as confidential information or proprietary property of the Licensor.

  • Product Information has the meaning specified in Section 10.12(a).

  • Technical Information means technical data or computer software, as those terms are defined in the clause at DFARS 252.227-7013, Rights in Technical Data-Non Commercial Items, regardless of whether or not the clause is incorporated in this solicitation or contract. Examples of technical information include research and engineering data, engineering drawings, and associated lists, specifications, standards, process sheets, manuals, technical reports, technical orders, catalog-item identifications, data sets, studies and analyses and related information, and computer software executable code and source code.

  • Research Results means any technical result acquired based on the Collaborative Research, including, but not limited to, any invention, idea, design, copyrightable work and know-how which relates to the purpose of the Collaborative Research.

  • Licensed Know-How means any and all unpatented and/or non-patentable technical data, documents, materials, samples and other information and know‐how that is Controlled by LICENSOR or any of its Affiliates as of the Effective Date or thereafter during the Term that relates to, or is otherwise reasonably necessary or reasonably useful for, the use, Development, manufacture, or Commercialization of the Product. Licensed Know-How shall not include Licensed Patents.

  • Controlled technical information means technical information with military or space application that is subject to controls on the access, use, reproduction, modification, performance, display, release, disclosure, or dissemination. Controlled technical information would meet the criteria, if disseminated, for distribution statements B through F using the criteria set forth in DoD Instruction 5230.24, Distribution Statements on Technical Documents. The term does not include information that is lawfully publicly available without restrictions.

  • Collaboration Know-How means all Know-How and Materials discovered, created, conceived, developed or reduced to practice in the course of performing activities under the Collaboration Program (whether solely by one Party or jointly by the Parties, in each case with their Affiliates or any Third Parties or any employees, consultants or agents of any of the foregoing which perform activities under the Collaboration Program).

  • Research Materials means all tangible materials other than Subject Data first produced in the performance of this CRADA.

  • Program Information is defined in Section 13.8(a)(i).

  • Research Use shall have the meaning given in Section 2.2.2 of this Agreement.

  • Licensed Technology means the Licensed Patents and the Licensed Know-How.

  • Third Party Technology means all Intellectual Property and products owned by third parties and licensed pursuant to Third Party Licenses.

  • Licensed Material means the artistic or literary work, database, or other material to which the Licensor applied this Public License.

  • Licensed Materials means any materials that Executive utilizes for the benefit of the Company (or any Subsidiary thereof), or delivers to the Company or the Company’s Customers, which (a) do not constitute Work Product, (b) are created by Executive or of which Executive is otherwise in lawful possession and (c) Executive may lawfully utilize for the benefit of, or distribute to, the Company or the Company’s Customers.

  • Licensor Know-How means any and all Know-How that (a) is Controlled by Licensor or any of its Affiliates as of the Effective Date or at any time thereafter during the Term and (b) pertains to the Manufacture, use or sale of Licensed Products, including Research Inventions (other than Research Patents).

  • Program Know-How which means any and all Know-How that is created, conceived, discovered, first generated, invented, first made or first reduced to practice, in each case (i) by or on behalf of [***], (ii) by or on behalf of [***] or (iii) by or on behalf of [***], but expressly excluding any Joint Program Know-How.

  • Program Materials means the documents and information provided by the Program Administrator specifying the qualifying EEMs, technology requirements, costs and other Program requirements, which include, without limitation, program guidelines and requirements, application forms and approval letters.

  • Development Data means any and all research data, pharmacology data, chemistry, manufacturing and control data, preclinical data, clinical data and all other documentation (including raw data) compiled, developed or generated with respect to the Compound or Product.

  • Medical information means any individually identifiable information, in electronic or physical form, in possession of or derived from a provider of health care, health care service plan, pharmaceutical company, or contractor regarding a patient's medical history, mental or physical condition, or treatment and shall have the meaning given to such term under California Civil Code § 56.05.

  • Licensee Data means, other than Resultant Data, information, data and other content, in any form or medium, that is collected, downloaded or otherwise received, directly or indirectly from Licensee or an Authorized User by or through the Services.

  • Licensed Content means those articles or other parts of a Licensed Title which form part of the content licensed in accordance with the Order (including all content published during the Subscription Period or other period specified in the Order to which access and use rights are granted under this Licence, and including all Previously Subscribed Material).
