Major Vendor definition

Major Vendor means any vendor engaged directly by Contractor to provide equipment for incorporation into the Work at the Site, whose Work is valued in excess of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000).
Major Vendor means any Vendor with whom Contractor enters, or intends to enter, into a Major Purchase Order.
Major Vendor means a person who sells, or offers to sell, goods or services to the Madison Metropolitan School District through the District's negotiated or bidding process in an aggregate amount of $25,000 per year or more, and who employees at least fifteen persons. The definition of major vendor also does not include (1) vendors whose goods or services are selected by the District under other non-Madison School District procedures such as the State of Wisconsin Procurement Policy and Procedure. BOARD approval is not required to select such vendors provided that the procedures under which the vendors were selected include an Affirmative Action Requirement for vendors, or (2) vendors from whom the District purchases books and other learning materials that are approved by the "Learning Materials" Committee pursuant to the evaluation process set forth in BOARD Policy 3611.

Examples of Major Vendor in a sentence

  • Except as set forth in Section 4.19(b) of the Company Disclosure Schedule, as of the date hereof, no Company Group Member has received any written, or to the knowledge of the Company, oral notice that any Major Vendor has cancelled, terminated or otherwise materially modified, or intends to cancel, terminate or otherwise materially modify its relationship with any Company Group Member.

  • For further certainty, the City’s remedies for Events of Default as outlined in this Article are subject to the Vendor’s limitations on liability as set out in Article 21 [Indemnity and Liability], except for any breach to which Section 22.3 [Major Vendor Defaults] applies.

More Definitions of Major Vendor

Major Vendor means a person who sells, or offers to sell, goods or services to the Madison Metropolitan School District through the District’s negotiated or bidding process in an aggregate amount of $20,000 or more, including the current bid, over the last 12 months, and who employees at least fifteen persons.
Major Vendor means vendors who supply services or products for transportation, catering or site venues for Client’s activities. If a specific major vendor will not agree to hold harmless, indemnify and defend Client, DMC will offer another vendor if Client so requests. If Client wants to be named as an additional insured on a vendor’s insurance policy, an additional fee of $XXX will apply.
Major Vendor shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4.21.
Major Vendor means any person or entity providing material services to the Program that State Street has engaged for the benefit of the Program to provide customer services, marketing services, Plan or Participant recordkeeping services, communications services, auditing or accounting services, legal services or actuarial services.
